摘要: A battery management system and method for controlling the operation of a plurality of electrical batteries (10) coupled to one another, includes a master control unit (50) coupled to each of the batteries (10), at least one battery status unit operable to provide data relating to the status of each of the batteries of the plurality of batteries and a power determination unit operable to provide a measure of the power draw required from the batteries (10). The master control unit (50) is operable to control the operation of the plurality of batteries to activate a number of the plurality to meet the required power draw and to deactivate any batteries (10) of the plurality which would cause said plurality of batteries to exceed the required power draw. In the preferred embodiment, the power determination unit is operable to determine the maximum safe power to a device coupled to the plurality of batteries (10), the master control unit (50) being operable to control the operation of the plurality of batteries (10) to activate a number of the batteries (10) having a combined power capacity not exceeding the safe maximum power. Thus, the system and method allow for a large number of batteries (10) to be coupled to an electrical device and for these to be controlled so as not to produce a current which is too high for the device. There are also described elements for determining the operation of the batteries (10) and in particular which is to operate as a master battery and which as slave batteries, as well as for managing the batteries during the powering of a device and for charging. A battery designed for this purpose is also disclosed.

摘要: The present invention is applicable to the field of mobile terminals and provides a charging system that comprises a charging adapter and a mobile terminal. The charging adapter comprises: a second USB interface; and an adjustment circuit for rectifying and filtering the mains to obtain an original power signal, carrying out voltage adjustment on the original power signal, and outputting a power signal after the voltage adjustment from a power signal output end. The mobile terminal comprises a first USB interface. P first power lines in the first USB interface and P second power lines in the second USB interface are correspondingly connected by insertion, Q first ground lines in the first USB interface and Q second ground lines in the second USB interface are correspondingly connected by insertion, P is greater than or equal to 2, and Q is greater than or equal to 2. Because each first power line and a corresponding second power line are connected by insertion, at least two charging circuits can be provided, and the charging system supports charging with a large current more than 3 amperes.

摘要: A plurality of temperature signals are safely output from one temperature terminal with a simple circuit-configuration. A battery pack including a plurality of batteries 1 includes: main temperature sensor 2 that detects battery temperatures, temperature terminal 12 coupled to main temperature sensor 2, sub temperature sensor 3 that detects a temperature of battery pack 100, 200 at a positions different from that of main temperature sensor 2, main switch 4 connected between main temperature sensor 2 and temperature terminal 12 and outputting a signal of main temperature sensor 2 to temperature terminal 12 in an ON state, and disconnecting main temperature sensor 2 from temperature terminal 12 in an OFF state, and temperature monitoring circuit 5 that performs control so that main switch 4 is turned ON and OFF depending on the detected temperature of sub temperature sensor 3. Temperature monitoring circuit 5 compares a detected temperature detected by sub temperature sensor 3 with a predetermined temperature range, performs control so that main switch 4 is turned to an OFF state in an abnormal temperature state in which the detected temperature is higher or lower than the predetermined temperature range, and outputs an abnormal signal from the temperature terminal 12.

摘要: A method and device for displaying SOC of a battery, and electronic equipment are provided. The method includes: an initial voltage and initial SOC of the battery are acquired (101); a current voltage and current SOC of the battery in a current state are acquired after charging or discharging the battery for a preset time (102); and if the ratio of the current voltage to the initial voltage meets a first preset condition and the ratio of the current SOC to the initial SOC meets a second preset condition, the current voltage and the current SOC are displayed (103). The SOC of the battery is obtained according to a corresponding relationship of voltage and SOC changes of the battery in charging and discharging processes of the battery, so that accurate calculation of the SOC of the battery is implemented without an additional hardware circuit such as a voltameter chip, the valuable Printed Circuit Board (PCB) arrangement space in terminal equipment is saved, cost is further reduced, and a degree of freedom of hardware design and competitiveness of a product are increased.
