This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatuses for forming concentrates of platelet-rich plasma or bone marrow cells having user-defined concentrations, concentration ranges, and/or volumes. Whole blood or bone marrow samples can be passed through one or two separation operations in which platelets or bone marrow cells are separated from red blood cells and concentrated in a plasma. During this separation and concentrating, a total number of platelets or bone marrow cells or a concentration of either is determined and then used to ascertain what volumes and concentrations need be mixed in order to produce a platelet-rich plasma concentrate or a bone marrow-rich plasma concentrate having a target concentration and/or volume.

Even if ozone and hydrogen peroxide solution are simply mixed with water to be treated to perform oxidative destruction of harmful substances, such as dioxins, PCB and the like, it is difficult to decompose the harmful substances, with desired decomposing effects. It is an object of the present invention to provide an advanced water treatment process and system which are based on ozone treatment capable of providing more reliable treatment effects. To attain the above object, according to the present invention, ozone treatment is carried out in which minute bubbles of ozone having an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 3 mu m are brought into contact with water to be treated, which contains the harmful substances, such as dioxins and PCB. By carrying out a desired combination of the ozone treatment as an essential treatment, and a hydrogen peroxide treatment, an ultraviolet radiation treatment, an electrolysis treatment, and a carbonized filter medium treatment, it is possible to realize enhanced effectiveness of the water treatment.

An anodization method which is suitable for the formation of an aluminum oxide film and electrolytic polishing, eliminates the use of a strong-acid electrolyte, employs carbonated water as an electrolyte, can form an oxide film inexpensively and quickly, improves a forming job and streamlines waste water treating, requires no special equipment, prevents a rise in electrolyte temperature, purges oxygen produced around a member to be treated to ensure a stable oxide film formation and a quality oxide film, and uses supercritical carbon dioxide to streamline oxide film forming treating and improve productivity; and a treating device therefor. A member to be treated (3) is used as a cathode in an electrolyte to carry out electrolysis. An oxide film is formed on the surface of the member to be treated (3). Pressurized carbon dioxide is dissolved in a specified amount of water (7). An oxide film is formed by using as an electrolyte carbonated water having a specified acid concentration.
