A battery management apparatus is provided. The battery management apparatus is used for increasing the capability of controlling the quality of battery modules and increasing the system integration. The battery management apparatus includes an interchangeable battery module and a battery pack management unit. The interchangeable battery module includes a battery management unit, a relay and a battery cell package. The battery management unit includes a voltage measurement circuit and a memory circuit. The voltage measurement circuit and the memory circuit are insulated from each other. The relay is used for switching an internal circuit of the interchangeable battery module. The battery cell package is connected with the battery management unit, and serves as a power source of the battery management apparatus. The battery pack management unit is connected with the voltage measurement circuit of the interchangeable battery module. The voltage measurement circuit is powered by the battery cell package. The voltage measurement circuit issues voltage information to the battery pack management unit. A battery operation data is stored in the memory circuit. The fixing device includes a base, a driving part, a main transmission part, a guiding part, a first stopping part, and a second stopping part. When removable battery module is installed in the electric vehicle, the guiding bar is aligned with the guiding part and moved along the guiding part. When the removable battery module is moved to a specified position, the main transmission part is driven by the driving part to be moved horizontally, so that the first stopping part is correspondingly rotated to urge against an end part of the guiding bar. Meanwhile, the second stopping part is correspondingly driven by the plural connection elements to locks the second side surface of the removable battery module. The fixing device enables the removable battery module to be securely fixed in the electric vehicle and facilitates locking and unlocking operations.

The second DC bus is electrically connected with the battery boxes for selectively receiving electric energy from the battery boxes. The power converter is connected between first DC bus and the second DC bus. After the power driving system is changed from a steady state power mode to a driving voltage switching mode, a driving voltage switching process is performed. By the power converter, a voltage of one of the first DC bus and the second DC bus in a steady state is used to adjust a voltage of the other of the first DC bus and the second DC bus.
