The present invention relates to a vaccinal strain of recombinant BCG Mycobacterium bovis expressing the Schistossoma mansoni Sm14 protein (BCG Pasteur ”leuD/p”K410-hsp60*-Sm14). The vaccinal strain of the present invention is employed in the control of infections caused by parasites, specially the Schistossoma mansoni. The vaccinal strain is a an auxotrophic strain to leucine amino acid derived from the BCG Pasteur sub-strain complemented to leucine after genetic transformation with the construct p”K410-hsp60*-Sm14. The efficacy of the BCG Pasteur ”leuD/p”K410-hsp60*-Sm14 strain in the control of the Schistossoma mansoni infection based on the recombinant Sm14 antigen in vivo is showed in the present invention.

The present invention relates to DNA vaccines encoding specific viral sequences. DNA vaccines against yellow fever, developed according to the invention are based on the sequence encoding the envelope protein of VFA (p/YFE). In addition to wild construction p/YFE, the sequence E was also fused to the sequence encoding the protein Associated to the Lysosomal human Membrane (h-LAMP), generating the construction (pL/YFE). The results of the invention are considered very promising since the two constructions are capable of inducing T cell response against the same epitopes induced by the vaccine 17DD, and the construction pl/YFE was also capable of inducing neutralizing antibodies at a concentration considered satisfactory. The vector pL/YFE was also inoculated into mice for subsequent intracerebral challenge with VFA. Surprisingly, 100% of mice immunized with pL/YFE survived the challenge.

The present invention relates to a new solid pharmaceutical composition of didanosine comprising didanosine crystals with an average particle size comprised between 50 and 500 microns, coated by a layer of an enteric coating. The pharmaceutical composition of the invention can be prepared by means of a simple process, which comprises coating the didanosine crystals with an enteric layer. Said composition has a good stability of the active ingredient, as well as a suitable release in the conditions present in the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract. It also relates to the use of said composition for preparing solid dosage forms of didanosine for their oral administration. The invention also relates to tablets and to hard gelatin capsules containing said composition.

The purpose of the present invention is the production of recombinant virus through the cloning and expression of sequences of coding nucleotides of the whole or part of heterolog proteins, through the following method: (a) modification of the heterolog nucleotides sequences in such way they when cloned and expressed in the vector virus, they present in the 5′ region, nucleotides present in the 5′ edge of the gene NS1 of this vector virus or of other virus or equivalent functional sequences, and in its 3′ region, the correspondent genome region in the whole or part of the spheres of the steam and anchor of the protein E of this vector virus or equivalent functional sequences, and not compromising the structure and the replication of the mention vector virus; (b) insertion of the modified heterolog sequences in (a) in the intergene region at the structural protein E level and of on structural NS1 vector virus; (c) obtention of the non pathogenic recombinant virus and owner of the immunologic properties, having the heterolog sequences integrated in the viral genome according to the insertion described in (b) and, like that, expressing the heterolog antigene in such way that it can induce an appropriate immune response. This patent deals with the use of antigens conjugated to an enzymatic activity for the detection of immune-complexes against antigenic mixtures containing conjugated antigen, hence allowing the detection of antibodies even with low titre, through the development of a color reaction. The method is based on the specificity of antibodies and can be used for the diagnosis of any infectious disease with the condition of using the appropriate conjugated antigen. The diagnosis kits for Chagas' disease make use of the recombinant Trypanosoma cruzi antigens described in the patent application PCT/BR/91/00003, (Brazilian application number 9001479, of MAR, 30, 1990), and are indicated for the immunological diagnosis of Chagas' disease using either ELISA or the antigens immobilized to solid supports such as nitrocellulose, nylon, polyvinyl, polycarbonate and polyallomer.

On décrit l'utilisation d'antigènes conjugués à une activité enzymatique pour la détection de complexes immuns dressés contre les mélanges antigéniques qui renferment des antigènes conjugués, ce qui permet la détection même des anticorps à faible titre grâce à l'élaboration d'une réaction colorée. Le procédé est basé sur la spécificité des anticorps et peut servir au diagnostic de toutes les maladies infectieuses à condition que l'on se serve de l'antigène conjugué approprié. Les nécessaires destinés au diagnostic de la maladie de Chagas utilisent les antigènes recombinés de Trypanosoma cruzi décrits dans la demande de brevet PCT/BR 91/00003 (demande brésilienne numéro 9001479 du 30 mars 1990), et sont indiqués dans le diagnostic immunologique de la maladie de Chagas à l'aide soit de la technique ELISA soit des antigènes immobilisés sur des supports solides tels que la pyroxyline, le nylon, le polyvinyle, le polycarbonate et le polyallomère.
