A coated substrate comprising the following: a) a fabric substrate layer; b) an adhesive layer which is formed from a first composition comprising a thermoplastic elastomer and an anhydride and/or carboxylic acid functionalized, chlorinated olefin-based polymer that has a chlorine content from 10 to 35 wt %, based on the total weight of the anhydride and/or carboxylic acid functionalized, chlorinated olefin-based polymer; and c) a non-polar olefin-based layer formed from a second composition comprising at least one non-polar olefin-based polymer.

A method for bonding a fabric to a polyolefin elastomer. The method comprises applying to the fabric: (a) from 10 to 90 wt % of an aqueous dispersion of a thermoplastic polymer; and (b) from 90 to 10 wt % of an aqueous dispersion of a rosin, wherein percentages are based on total dry weight of thermoplastic polymer and rosin.

A foamable composition comprising at least an olefin block copolymer, an olefin copolymer, an oil, a blowing agent and a crosslinking agent is provided. The olefin block copolymer has a Mw/Mn from 1.7 to 3.5, and at least one melting point, Tm, in degrees Celsius, and a density, d, in gram/cubic centimeter, wherein the numerical values of Tm and d correspond to the relationship: Tm>−2002.9+4538.5(d)−2422.2(d)2. Foams, laminates, articles and wetsuits made from the foams are also provided.

A multilayer biaxially oriented polypropylene film is disclosed which comprises at least three layers. The first layer is an outer layer comprising a first polymer which is a homopolymer polypropylene resin having a melting point of at least 155° C. The second layer is a core layer, having a melting point greater than 150° C. The core layer includes a blend comprising a second polymer which is a polypropylene homopolymer having a melting point of at least 155° C. and a third polymer having a melting point no greater than 145° C. The second polymer comprises from 20% to 80% by weight of the core layer while the third polymer comprises from 80% to 20% by weight of the core layer. The last required layer in the film is a sealant layer. The sealant layer comprises a fourth polymer having a melting point no greater than 145° C.

An article comprising a polymeric foam, wherein the polymeric foam contains a continuous polymer matrix defining cells therein, the polymer matrix containing: (a) from 25 to 65 weight percent of one or more olefin block copolymer having a melt index of two grams per ten minutes or more, (b) from 65 to 25 weight percent of one or more chlorinated olefin polymer having a Mooney viscosity less than 60 (ML 1+4, 125° C.), and (c) from 5 to 30 weight parts of antimony trioxide relative to 100 weight parts of polymers in the polymeric foam, with weight percent values relative to total polymer weight in the polymeric foam; a process for preparing the article.
