摘要: A sensor that continuously estimates a PM amount in exhaust gas. The sensor includes a filter member 31 including a plurality of cells that trap PM in exhaust gas, electrode members 32, 33 arranged to face each other with the cell interposed therebetween and forming a capacitor, an electric heater 34 that executes, when a predetermined amount of PM has accumulated in the cells, filter regeneration for combusting and removing the PM, a temperature sensor 35 that acquires the temperature of the filter member 31, a storage unit 40 that stores therein a reference temperature, which is the temperature of the filter member 31 in a case where the filter regeneration has been executed in a state in which PM is not flowing into the filter member 31, and estimation units 42, 43, 44 that estimate a PM amount included in the exhaust gas based on an electrostatic capacitance change amount between the electrode members 32, 33 during a regeneration interval period, and estimate the PM amount included in the exhaust gas based on a difference between the temperature acquired by the temperature sensor 35 and the reference temperature during a filter regeneration interval.

摘要: The invention relates to a diagnosis device that effectively diagnoses a cooler without providing a temperature sensor upstream of the cooler. The diagnosis device diagnoses the cooler (16, 22) adapted to cool a fluid flowing through intake and exhaust systems (11, 12) of an engine (10), and includes: a downstream temperature sensor (34, 37) for detecting a fluid temperature downstream of the cooler; a fluid temperature calculation unit (42, 52, 53) for calculating a fluid temperature upstream of the cooler based on a fluid state quantity; a sensor output value calculation unit (44, 54) for assuming an upstream temperature sensor configured to detect a fluid temperature upstream of the cooler, reflecting a sensor response delay in the calculated fluid temperature, and calculating an estimated sensor output value of the upstream temperature sensor; and a cooler diagnosis unit (45, 55) for diagnosing the cooling efficiency of the cooler based on an actual sensor input value entered from the downstream temperature sensor (34, 37) and the calculated estimated sensor output value.

摘要: There is provided a first PM sensor 10A provided upstream of a filter 220 in an exhaust direction of exhaust gas and including a first sensor filter 31A having a plurality of first cells divided by porous partition walls and collecting PM in the exhaust gas to be introduced into the filter, and a first pair of electrodes 32A, 33A arranged to face each other with the first cell interposed therebetween so as to form a capacitor, a second PM sensor 10B provided downstream of the filter in the exhaust direction of the exhaust gas and including a second sensor filter 31B having a plurality of second cells divided by porous partition walls and collecting PM in the exhaust gas discharged from the filter, and a second pair of electrodes 32B, 33B arranged to face each other with the second cell interposed therebetween so as to form a capacitor, and a filter state determination unit for acquiring an efficiency of collecting the PM in the filter, based on a first electrostatic capacitance between the first pair of electrodes and a second electrostatic capacitance between the second pair of electrodes.

The PM sensor includes: a filter member 31 having a plurality of measuring cells which are defined by a porous partition wall and configured to trap particulate matters in exhaust gas; at least a pair of electrode members 32, 33 which are disposed to face each other with the measuring cell sandwiched therebetween to form a condenser; a heater member 34 which heats the measuring cell to burn and remove particulate matters accumulated in the measuring cell; and an estimation unit 42 which estimates an amount of the particulate matters contained in the exhaust gas based on an electrostatic capacity between the pair of electrode members 32, 33.

摘要: The present invention relates to an exhaust purification system and detects an amount of PM accumulated in a DPF with high precision. The exhaust purification system includes: a DOC (21) provided on an exhaust path (12) of an engine (10); an upstream DPF (22) and a downstream DPF (23) that are provided on the exhaust path (12) at positions downstream of the DOC (21) to collect the PM contained in exhaust gas; electrodes (27) that detect a capacitance of the upstream DPF (22); a PM accumulation estimating unit (51) that estimates at least an amount of PM accumulated in the downstream DPF (23) on the basis of the capacitance received from the electrodes (27); and a forced regeneration control unit (53) that injects fuels into the DOC (21) and performs forced regeneration that burns and removes at least the PM accumulated in the downstream DPF (23) when the accumulated PM amount that is received from the PM accumulation estimating unit (51) surpasses a predetermined amount.

The diagnostic device includes: a DOC (15) for oxidizing HC and NO in an exhaust gas; an SCR catalyst (22) for reducing and purifying NOx contained in the exhaust gas; a NOx purification rate calculation unit (41) which calculates, based on NOx values at upstream and downstream sides of the SCR catalyst (22), a low temperature NOx purification rate and a high temperature NOx purification rate; a HC heat generation rate calculation unit (42) which calculates an HC purification rate based on at least the difference between the exhaust gas heat quantities at upstream and downstream sides of the DOC (15); and a deterioration determination unit (45) which determines the deterioration in the NO 2 producing capability of the DOC (15) based on the calculated low temperature NOx purification rate, the calculated high temperature NOx purification rate, and the calculated HC purification rate.

There is provided the diagnostic device for a sensor 10 which is arranged in an exhaust passage 110 of an internal combustion engine 100 and detects a particulate matter amount in exhaust, the diagnostic device including a time-rate-of-change calculation unit 2 which calculates a time rate of change of the particulate matter amount detected by the sensor 10 during a period in which a fuel injection amount of the internal combustion engine 100 is equal to or less than a predetermined injection amount threshold, and an abnormality determination unit 3 which determines an abnormality of the sensor 10 based on the time rate of change of the particulate matter amount calculated by the time-rate-of-change calculation unit 2.
