The thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention comprises (A) a graft copolymer having a multilayer structure and (B) a thermoplastic copolymer, wherein the graft copolymer having a multilayer structure (A) comprises a core of a conjugated diene-based rubber latex having a weight average particle diameter of 500 Å to 2,000 Å; an intermediate layer; and a graft layer. The glass transition temperature of the intermediate layer is 40°C or less, the glass transition temperature of the graft layer is 80°C or more, and the refractive index difference between the graft copolymer (A) and the thermoplastic copolymer (B) is less than 0.01.

The present invention relates to a graft copolymer having excellent thermal stability, a method of preparing the graft copolymer, a thermoplastic resin composition including the graft copolymer, and a molded part including the thermoplastic resin composition. More specifically, the present invention relates to a graft copolymer having a core-shell structure and having excellent thermal stability, which is prepared according to an emulsion polymerization method, in which a metal salt of sorbic acid is included in reactants in a specific amount and is used as an emulsifier. According to the method, thermal stability of a graft copolymer can be improved by using the metal salt of sorbic acid, which can be easily removed in a dehydration process, instead of a conventional emulsifier, which remains in a reaction product after completion of emulsion polymerization and lowers thermal stability of a prepared graft copolymer. In addition, according to the present invention, since the thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention includes the graft copolymer having excellent thermal stability, the thermoplastic resin composition and the molded part manufactured using the thermoplastic resin composition have excellent physical properties, such as impact strength, fluidity, and transparency. Furthermore, the degree of discoloration that may occur when the resin composition or the molded part is allowed to stay in an injection molding machine or stay at a high temperature for a long period of time may be reduced.

More particularly, the present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition including 100 parts by weight of a base resin that includes an acrylic graft copolymer and an acrylic non-graft copolymer; and greater than 0.3 parts by weight and less than 1.2 parts by weight of a zinc-based antimicrobial agent, and a molded article including the same, wherein the zinc-based antimicrobial agent has an average particle diameter of greater than 3 µm to 30 µm. In accordance with the present invention, a thermoplastic resin composition providing superior transparency and excellent initial antimicrobial activity and persistent antimicrobial activity while providing the same mechanical properties as existing resin compositions, and a molded article including the same are provided.
