Provided are : an organic/inorganic composite having inorganic particles blended in a resin having a high melt viscosity at a high filling rate and with high dispersibility, the organic/inorganic composite having high mechanical strength, and a manufacturing method therefor; and a dental material and bone substitute material manufactured using the organic/inorganic composite. The organic/inorganic composite includes: (A) 100 parts by mass of a thermoplastic resin containing as a main component at least one kind selected from a polyarylketone resin and a polysulfone resin; and (B) 60 to 300 parts by mass of an inorganic particle mixture dispersed in the thermoplastic resin, in which the inorganic particle mixture contains inorganic particles each having a particle diameter of from 200 to 700 nm at a content of 25 vol% or more, and inorganic particles each having a particle diameter of from 40 to 100 nm at a content of 10 vol% or more.

The present invention provides a novel structure in which a filling material that is a filler is dispersed in an incompatible resin selected from a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin and/or an incompatible elastomer; and use of the novel structure. In a cocontinuous structure formed from a binary system that is selected from an incompatible resin selected from a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin and/or an incompatible elastomer, a filling material that is a filler is dispersed selectively and uniformly in one of the incompatible resin selected from the thermoplastic resin or the thermosetting resin and/or the incompatible elastomer. The structure is obtained by putting the filling material and the resin and/or the elastomer in a cylinder having a screw through a put-in part provided at an end of a melt-kneading part having a heating part; processing the resin or elastomer under the conditions where a rotation speed of the screw is 100 rpm to 3000 rpm and a shear rate is 150 to 4500 sec -1 ; confining the resin or elastomer in a gap at a front end of the screw; and conducting circulation of moving the resin or elastomer from the gap to a rear end of the screw.

Provided is a carbon fiber reinforced plastic material having excellent rigidity, flexibility and improved heat resistance and a method of manufacturing the same. The present invention provides a carbon fiber reinforced plastic material containing 2 parts by mass or more and 30 parts by mass or less of a nanofiller with respect to a total of 100 parts by mass of 30 parts by mass or more and 90 parts by mass or less of a polymer material and 70 parts by mass or more and 10 parts by mass or less of carbon fibers, an average aspect ratio (length / width) of the nanofiller being 20 or more. The average aspect ratio (length / width) of the nanofiller may also be 50 or more.
