Abstract:
An optical disc according to the present invention includes a plurality of recording layers; a receiving section for receiving, from outside an optical disc, a switching instruction for switching a target layer to be targeted for recording layers; and a switching section for switching the target layer among the plurality of recording layers, based on the switching instruction received.
Abstract:
The communication device can easily serve as an extended user interface such as a remote controller of a target apparatus without causing any complicated operations to a user. The communication device includes the following units. An apparatus information obtainment unit (203) obtains apparatus information from an apparatus. A position information obtainment unit (206) obtains position information of the communication device (102). An operation information obtainment unit (212) obtains operation information based on the apparatus information. A storage unit (213) stores the position information as apparatus position information indicating as a position of the apparatus, in association with the operation information. A direction sensor unit (207) detects direction of the communication device (102). A directional space calculation unit (208) calculates a directional space of the communication device (102). A selection unit (209a) specifies the apparatus existing in the directional space based on the apparatus position information and selects the operation information associated with the specified apparatus. An operation information transmission unit (215) transmits, based on the selected operation information, a control signal to the specified apparatus so as to allow the communication device to operate the apparatus.
Abstract:
The present invention realizes electronic commerce by providing a portable terminal (501). The portable terminal comprises a receiver, a barcode former, a display (590) and a detector (725). The receiver receives data representing product information and service information. The barcode former forms barcode data, based on the data received, the barcode data including a plurality of display barcodes, information defining the display order of the barcodes and information representing an end of the display of the plurality of display barcodes. The display (590) displays the barcode data generated by the barcode former. The detector (725) detects light or a signal from a barcode reader (708). The detection result of the detector influences the switching of the display from the currently displayed barcode to the display barcode next in the display order. The barcode reader is provided at a shop terminal etc. to read one of the plurality of barcodes.
Abstract:
An NFC device according to the present invention includes the following units. An antenna unit (101) receives radio waves from a reader/writer (20) by NFC. A first power source unit (102) generates power from the radio waves. A second power source unit (104) is a drive power source. A power-supply state holding unit (107) holds information indicating a power-supply state of the second power source unit (104). An NFC unit (606) performs NFC via the antenna unit (101) to transmit the information indicating the power-supply state of the second power source unit (104). A power source switch unit (103) switches the second power source unit (104) to the first power source unit (102) according to the power-supply state of the second power source unit (104), in order to supply power to activate at least the NFC unit (606) and the power-supply state holding unit (107). Here, the power source switch unit (103) switches the second power source unit (104) to the first power source unit (102), when the information indicates that the second power source unit (104) is powered OFF.
Abstract:
A terminal apparatus (M101) includes a terminal unit (M201) and a near-field communication unit (M107). The terminal unit (M201) includes a main memory (M106) that stores operation history information of the terminal apparatus (M101) and a controller (M105). The near-field communication unit (M107) includes a communication control unit (M216) that performs near-field communication with the mobile apparatus (M102) and a near-field communication memory (M215). The controller (M105) stores, in the near-field communication memory (M215), at least a part of the operation history information stored in the main memory (M106) when a malfunction of the terminal unit (M201) is detected, and the communication control unit (M216) transmits the operation history information stored in the near-field communication memory (M215) by near-field communication to the mobile apparatus (M102), in accordance with a request from the mobile apparatus (M102).
