Die Erfindung betrifft allgemein das Gebiet der Isolierung, insbesondere eine Formulierung für eine Hochtemperatur-Isolierung bei Betriebstemperaturen von 200°C und mehr. Die Isolierung dient als Isolation von elektrischen Leitern. So betrifft die Erfindung ein Isolationssystem für eine elektrische Maschine, insbesondere eine rotierende elektrische Maschine mit Stator, wie einen Elektromotor und/oder einen Generator mit verbesserter Temperaturbeständigkeit der polymeren Isolationssystems-Bestandteile und oder eine isolierende Beschichtung für generativ hergestellte Leiter oder Teilen davon, Stromschienen, Anschlussschienen und/oder Klemmkästen. Durch die vorliegende Erfindung wird erstmals ein Verguss, Pulverlack und/oder eine Formulierung für einen Nasslack offenbart, der als Füllstoff Hochleistungsthermoplaste umfasst, wobei sich gezeigt hat, dass diese Füllstoffe die thermische Beständigkeit deutlich erhöhen können und dabei noch verbesserte thermomechanische Eigenschaften in ein daraus hergestelltes Isolationssystem bringen.

The invention relates to a voltage-limiting composition (1) or varistor composition, having a polymer matrix (2) and a particulate filler (4) containing a partially conductive material (5), wherein the partially conductive material (5) is applied to an electrically non-conductive carrier material (6), and wherein the carrier material (6) has a lower density than the partially conductive material (5). A settling rate of the filler in the polymer matrix is reduced as a result. The voltage-limiting composition can therefore also be used as a lacquer or for prepreg materials. The invention also relates to a body which acts as a varistor and has a composition of this kind, and to a method for producing a composition of this kind, which method comprises annealing. The invention can be used particularly advantageously for surge arresters with a varistor property, in particular in medium-voltage systems, low-voltage systems, cable connections and cable fasteners.
