    摘要: A recording paper for an inkjet printer having a porous resin film and, formed thereon, an ink-receiving layer, characterized in that the porous resin film has a liquid absorbing capacity of 0.5 ml/m or more, as measured according to "Japan TAPPI No. 51-87", and has a value for surface gloss (JIS-Z-8741: measured at 60 DEG ) of 40 % or more, wherein the ink-receiving layer preferably contains at least one of alumina, alumina hydrate and amorphous silica. The ink jet recording paper has high gloss and excellent durability, can absorb an inkjet ink promptly with no blotting, and can be produced at a low cost.

    摘要: A method of surface treatment of a thermoplastic resin film (i) comprising the steps of subjecting the surface of a thermoplastic resin film (i) to an oxidation treatment, applying a surface modifying agent (A) thereon, and stretching the film, characterized in that the surface modifying agent (A) is an aqueous dispersion comprising water and an olefin copolymer (a) having an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride bonded thereto which is dispersed in the water by the use of at least one selected from the group consisting of a nonionic surfactant, a nonionic water-soluble polymer, a cationic surfactant and a cationic water-soluble polymer as a dispersant (b), wherein the weight ratio of (a)/(b) in terms of solids is 100/1 to 100/30 and the resin particles contained in the surface modifying agent (A) have an average particle diameter of 5 μm or less. The method of surface treatment can be employed for providing a thermoplastic resin film which exhibits good printability for thermal transfer printing and offset printing and can afford a printed matter having excellent water resistance.

    摘要: A porous resin film which satisfactorily absorbs water, used as a solvent in water-based inks or water-based adhesives; and a recording medium comprising the porous resin film. The recording medium is characterized in that when an ink is delivered thereto in a large amount in ink-jet recording, it is capable of absorbing the ink without causing unevenness of density even in solid printing. The porous resin film comprises 30 to 90 wt.% thermoplastic resin and 70 to 10 wt.% fine inorganic and/or organic particles the surface of which has been treated with (A) a surface-treating agent comprising a copolymer of (a1) a diallylamine salt or alkyldiallylamine salt with (a2) a nonionic hydrophilic vinyl monomer and (B) an anionic surface-treating agent. It has a liquid absorption volume as measured in accordance with 'Japan TAPPI No.51-87' of 0.5 ml/m2 or greater.

    摘要: The present invention has an object to provide a resin film for ultraviolet curing inkjet printing, in which an ink does not easily peel even in the case that the resin film is continuously posted outdoors, and a printed matter having been subjected to excellent water-resistant ultraviolet curable inkjet printing.
