System and methods are shown having a tube-within-tube assembly with a deployable curved deflectable tube or cannula that deploys from a straight cannula or trocar. The curved cannula has pre-curved distal end to create an angular range of 0° to 180° when fully deployed from the straight trocar. The curve is configured such that the flexible element carrying a treatment device can navigate through the angular range of deployment of the curved cannula. The curved cannula allows the flexible element to navigate through a curve within bone without veering off towards an unintended direction.

A one-piece stent implanter, comprises a front handle (10) and a rear handle (14), wherein the front end of the front handle (10) is provided with an outer pipe (7) whose top is flexibly connected with a cautery tip (1), the outer pipe is internally provided with a middle pipe (6) for receiving a stent (4); the rear handle (14) comprises a stainless steel pipe (12) for supporting an inner pipe (3) positioned in the stainless steel pipe, the top of the inner pipe (3) being fixedly connected to the cautery tip (1); wherein one end of the middle pipe (6) is adapted to touch and connect with one end of the stent (4), while the other end of the middle pipe is mutually connected with the stainless steel pipe (12); allowing one end of the stent to be positioned close to the cautery tip, with a certain gap; such that when the front handle (10) is retreated along the stainless steel pipe (12), the outer pipe (7) simultaneously retreats and separates from the cautery tip (1), the positions of the middle pipe and the rear handle remaining unchanged, whereby the stent (4) is automatically released.

A device for cutting and damaging a tissue specimen in surrounding tissue comprises an elongated wand with a proximal end and a distal end, means at the distal end for inserting the wand into tissue, an operational portion at a distal portion of the wand, a tissue cutting tool which is disposed at the operational portion configured to at least partially isolate a desired tissue specimen from surrounding tissue at the tissue site adjacent to the operational portion by cutting at least a partial peripheral channel about the tissue specimen, and having a tissue specimen damager, disposed within the operational portion to damage the isolated tissue specimen in order to necrotize the severed tissue specimen, wherein the tissue specimen damager comprises a. a plurality of outlets that permit the flow of a chemical into the isolated tissue specimen in order to necrotize the isolated severed tissue specimen; or b. an ionizing radiation director; or c. a thermal damaging means selected from the group consisting of a laser device, means to deliver hot fluid, means to delivery cryogenic fluid, means to deliver radio frequency energy, means to deliver focused ultrasound, means to delivery mechanical ultrasound, means to deliver shock waves and means to deliver a heated object; or d. a means to morcellate tissue of the isolated tissue specimen; or e. a plurality of tissue damaging elements.
