    摘要: A method of controlled delivery of breathing gases is described the method comprising: applying breathing gas pressure within the first naris of a patient during inhalation; applying breathing gas pressure within the second naris of the patient during inhalation; applying breathing gas pressure within the first naris of the patient during exhalation; and applying breathing gas pressure within the second naris of the patient during exhalation, wherein the breathing gas pressure applied to the first naris during inhalation is higher than the gas pressure applied to the second naris during inhalation and the breathing gas inflow to the patient is substantially through the first naris during inhalation and wherein the breathing gas pressure applied to the first naris during exhalation is lower than the gas pressure applied to the second naris during exhalation and the gas outflow from the patient is substantially through the first naris during exhalation. An apparatus and system implementing the method is also described.
