摘要: The present disclosure relates to integrated systems, methods and apparatuses for assisting individuals in managing acute life-threatening conditions. A system in accordance with the current disclosure may comprise an electronic circuit configured to be attached to a container of a medication and one or more devices in communication with the electronic circuit in a private network. In an aspect, the one or more devices may work in concert to determine the safety level of an individual based on predetermined usage settings. In some aspects, the system may be configured to determine whether a medication would expire before its manufactured expiry date. In another aspect, the system may assist an individual in locating a medication. In a further aspect, the system may determine whether an individual is having an anaphylactic reaction. In some aspects, the system may detect a known allergen and alert the individual.

摘要: The present invention provides a device (1) for monitoring the application of a drug to a patient by means of a drug pen (100), whereby the drug pen comprises a front end provided with an injection needle and a rear end provided with an actuation pushbutton, the device comprising a body (2) which can be dismountably coupled to the pen; an injection detection means determining when a drug injection is carried out; and a processing means configured for storing the date and time of the injection when the injection detection means detects that a drug injection is carried out, whereby the body is configured to be coupled to the pushbutton of the pen such that the pushbutton is actuated by pushing directly on the body, whereby the injection detection means is implemented as actuation detector configured for detecting said pushing action.

摘要: The present disclosure pertains to a system configured to adjust an intensity of sensory stimulation delivered to a subject during a sleep session based on sleep depth in the subject during the sleep session. The restorative value of sleep may be increased by enhancing sleep slow-waves using sensory stimulation. The stimulation may be applied at an appropriate timing and/or intensity to enhance sleep slow-waves to enhance slow-waves without disturbing sleep.

摘要: A system and method are configured to adjust the tidal volume of the breathing of a subject. The subject is self-ventilating (breathes under her own power). The adjustment of tidal volume accomplished through use of the system and/or method may reduce hypertension (e.g., lower blood pressure), reduce stress and/or anxiety (and related maladies), improve relaxation, decrease sleep latency, improve sleep quality, address other sleep disorders, and/or provide other health benefits. The system and method are effective in adjusting tidal volume while the subject is awake and/or asleep.
