Innerhalb der Misch- und Förderstation befindet sich ein Sieb zur Trennung des Fördergutes von der Luft, dessen Sieböffnungen dem gewünschten Abscheidegrad zur Abscheidung des Mischgutes von der Luft entsprechen. Luft strömt in das Mischgut ein, so wird eine Vermischung und Entstaubung des Mischgutes bewirkt, wobei die Luft eine Temperatur von 40 °C - 200 °C aufweist.

The present application relates to a blender unit (2) and method for blending materials. The blender unit (2) comprises: - a number of material hoppers (4, 6) for individual base materials of a base segment of the recipe, the hoppers (4, 6) having an inlet and an outlet; - a weighing bin (10) that is connected to the outlets of the material hoppers (4, 6) and is configured for weighing the base materials of the base recipe segment; - a mixing chamber (14) having an outlet and a mixing element configured for mixing the base materials received from the weighing bin (10) into a mixture of base materials; - an in-line dosing chamber (28) that is directly connected to the outlet of the mixing chamber (14) and is provided with a number of dosing elements configured for dosing a number of additives of an additive segment of the recipe into the mixture of base materials received from the mixing chamber (14), and the in-line dosing chamber (28) having a blender outlet (18); - a number of weight feeders (20, 22) configured for providing the one of more additives of the additive recipe segment to the in-line dosing chamber (28); and - a controller configured for controlling the outlet of the material hoppers (4, 6), weighing bin (10), mixing element, and dosing elements such that a mixture according to the recipe can be provided at the blender unit (2).

A weighing apparatus for the preparation of a mixture of granular components that comprise batches of material required by a plurality of processing machines in a plant for the manufacture of plastic products is described. The apparatus comprises a Multi-Channel Gravimetric Batch Blender (MCGBB) configured to weigh predetermined weights of the raw materials and to combine the weighed portions of raw materials into batches according to a predetermined recipe for each processing machine and a computer that controls the operation of all components of the MCGBB. The MCGBB comprises several weighing units arranged in a way that allows material weighed in each of the weighing units to fall through individual chutes via a common funnel into a manifold that distributes the weighed batches to several processing machines via a system of delivery pipes.

The invention relates to an apparatus for producing a mixture of different bulk material components, comprising reservoirs for the individual bulk material components and a weighing container with an integrated mixing device, said weighing container being suspended or supported on a weighing device and the desired mixture of the bulk material components being fed to the weighing container from the reservoirs via a top inlet by means of conveying devices. The aim of the invention is to create an apparatus in which the ratio between the empty weight of the weighing container and the weighed quantity is significantly improved so as to increase the weighing accuracy. Said aim is achieved by the fact that the mixing device (18) protrudes into the weighing container (10) from above while being suspended so as to be free from the weighing container (10).
