The characteristic feature of the invention is that steel radial tyres used as rubber waste containing metal is used, before grinding the used tyres are cut up into pieces of a maximum size of 10-30 cm, and they are ground only after being cut up previously, and after grinding the ground material containing metal is taken through separating equipment, where the assorted grains of a maximum size of 5-20 mm containing metal are separated from the rest of the ground material, and only the part of the ground material of the given grain size separated in this way is mixed with binding and filling materials.

Durch die Erfindung wird das Überführen eines Anfangs einer Folienbahn (5) oder eines Folienrestgitters (10) aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff von einer Thermoformmaschine (1) zum Tiefziehen und Ausstanzen von Behältern zu einer Schneidmühle (3) zum Zermahlen der Folienbahn oder des Folienrestgitters verbessert im Hinblick auf Unfallsicherheit und Handhabung, wenn eine Überführungseinrichtung weit oberhalb eines Einlaufs der Schneidmühle angeordnet werden muss, um sie über eine Stapeleinrichtung hinwegführen zu können. Erreicht wird dies dadurch, dass ein mit einer Klemmeinrichtung versehener Transportwagen (14), der den Anfang der Folienbahn (5) oder des Folienrestgitters (10) zu einer ortsfesten Klemmeinrichtung transportiert, anschließend mit geöffneter Klemmeinrichtung entgegen der Vorschubrichtung (40) fährt, die Folienbahn erneut klemmt und sie nochmals oder mehrmals in Richtung der ortsfesten Klemmeinrichtung transportiert. Auf diese Weise wird ein entsprechend langes Stück der Folienbahn oder des Folienrestgitters vor dem Einlauf der Schneidmühle bereitgestellt, das von der Bedienungsperson ergriffen und der Schneidmühle zugeführt werden kann. The invention relates to a method for processing tires, producing products comprised of the tire material and a device for cutting tires and flatly constructed products or bodies e.g. blocks, mats or cords which are produced from cut tires. The invention can be applied especially to reshaping passenger car, truck or aircraft tires that are no longer acceptable for use in transportation into a new foundation as a base material which can be utilized for manufacturing products in multiple areas of the economy. Intermediate products for manufacturing new final products are made out of cut tire rings. The method is characterized in that the tires are separated into a series of segments in such a way that the two side pieces of the wheel tread are separated off and the resulting rings are joined to form new products with one another.
