Provided are an offset printing plate, an offset printing apparatus, and an offset printing method, which are capable of printing a high-definition image by waterless offset printing. The offset printing plate comprises: a cylindrical plate base material; a silicon resin layer formed on the cylindrical plate base material; and a resist pattern part formed on the silicon resin layer, in which the silicon resin layer serves as a non-printing area, and the resist pattern part serves as a printing area. The silicon resin layer is preferably formed on the cylindrical plate base material seamlessly.

Provided are a photosensitive resin composition which enables production of a planographic printing plate precursor having a non-image portion which has good solubility in an alkali aqueous solution and which enables production of a planographic printing plate having excellent chemical resistance and excellent printing durability, a planographic printing plate precursor obtained by using the photosensitive resin composition, a method for producing a planographic printing plate, and a new polymer compound. The photosensitive resin composition of the present invention contains a polymer compound which has a polycyclic structure and a sulfonamide group in a main chain; and an infrared absorbent.

The main object of an embodiment of the present invention is to provide a printing plate with excellent transferability, printing durability, and resolution, a producing method for the printing plate, a producing method for a functional element utilizing the printing plate, and a printing apparatus. An embodiment of the present invention achieves the objective by providing a printing plate comprising: a substrate containing an elastic body swellable in a solvent, a hydrophobic solvent permeation preventing layer formed on the substrate in a pattern, and a hydrophilic portion that is formed on a surface of the substrate at an opening portion of the hydrophobic solvent permeation preventing layer and higher in hydrophilicity than the hydrophobic solvent permeation preventing layer.

Provided are a lithographic printing plate precursor for furnishing a lithographic printing plate in which adhesion to interleaving paper is prevented, contamination inside a device is prevented, and edge stain does not occur; a method of producing the same; and a printing method using the same. The lithographic printing plate precursor includes: a support; and an image recording layer on the support, in which a region of a surface of the lithographic printing plate precursor at a side of the image recording layer, which is from an end portion of the lithographic printing plate precursor to a portion inside the end portion by 5 mm, contains at least one polymer selected from polyamide, polyurethane, polyurea, polyester and polycarbonate, and has a content of the polymer per unit area which is greater than a content of the polymer per unit area in a region other than the above-described region by an amount of 10 mg/m 2 or greater.

A light-sensitive color-forming composition and a curable color-forming composition each of which forms color at a high density by exposure with an infrared laser and has a small fading due to aging is provided by an infrared sensitive color-forming composition containing (A) a compound having an infrared absorbing skeleton and a thermochromic skeleton in its molecule wherein the infrared absorbing skeleton and the thermochromic skeleton are connected with a covalent bond or an ionic bond, and (B) a binder, and an infrared curable color-forming composition in which the infrared sensitive color-forming composition described above further contains (C) a radical initiator and (D) a polymerizable compound. A lithographic printing plate precursor which has the curable color-forming composition described above in the image-recording layer, is extremely excellent in the plate inspection property, has good preservation stability and maintains a high color-forming property, is excellent in the on-press development property, and provides a lithographic printing plate having a good printing durability and a plate making method of producing a lithographic printing plate precursor using the lithographic printing plate precursor described above are provided by a lithographic printing plate precursor having an image-recording layer comprising the infrared curable color-forming composition described above and a plate making method of producing a lithographic printing plate precursor by image exposing the lithographic printing plate precursor described above with infrared ray and then performing on-press development.
