The pitch length of the intermediate sipes (51) is longer than that of the central sipes (52), and both ends of the central sipes (52) open into the circumferential main grooves (2).

A tire includes a tread part (2). The tread part (2) includes multiple main grooves that each linearly continuously extend in a tire circumferential direction, and a first land portion (11) that is formed by dividing the tread part (2) by the main grooves. The first land portion (11) includes multiple first transverse grooves (16), and multiple first blocks (20) that are formed by dividing the first land portion (11) by the first transverse grooves (16). At least one of the first blocks (20) is provided with a first slot (21) that extends from a first side surface (20a) on one side in a tire axial direction, a second slot (22) that extends from a second side surface (20b) on the other side in the tire axial direction, a first sipe (23) that extends from the first slot (21) and terminates within the first block (20), and a second sipe (24) that extends from the second slot (22) and terminates within the first block (20) without intersecting the first sipe (23).-

A pneumatic tire comprises a tread rubber that includes: a tread surface rubber layer located at an outermost surface of a tread; and a tread inside rubber layer located on a tire radial inner side of the tread surface rubber layer. A 100% modulus of the tread surface rubber layer is higher than a 100% modulus of the tread inside rubber layer, and the tread surface rubber layer is made of a rubber composition including: a rubber component (A) containing 50 mass% or more of diene-based rubber; and, with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component (A), 5 to 50 parts by mass of at least one additive component (B) selected from: thermoplastic resin; oil; and an aromatic vinyl compound-conjugated diene compound copolymer whose polystyrene-equivalent weight-average molecular weight measured by gel permeation chromatography is 5,000 to 200,000.

摘要: By forming a ground contact edge side of lug grooves (16) such that the groove depth becomes shallower in groove depth from the tire equatorial plane side toward the ground contact edge, and by setting an average angle of inclination (¸1) formed between a tread face (12A) and a groove bottom (16B) to be not more than 5°, water expulsion is performed smoothly in the vicinity of the ground contact edge while securing the rigidity of land portions in the vicinity of the ground contact edge. This enables a high degree of both wet performance and dry performance to be achieved.
