The second air cooled heat exchanger (34) is selectively connected in series to the heat emission component heat exchanger (35). The thermal management system ensures full utilization of heat, improves the cooling effect and the comfort level of the passenger compartment, reduces the amount of the charged coolant, and prevents the coolant from entering the passenger compartment.

Ferner betrifft die Erfindung zwei unterschiedliche Verfahren zur Trocknung der Verdampferoberfläche in einer Anordnung einer Klimaanlage, bei dem die Gebläseluft durch den Verdampfer geschickt wird, um danach durch einen Auslass in die Umgebung abgeleitet zu werden. Zwischen dem Ventilator (7) und dem Paket der Wärmeaustauschplatten befindet sich eine zusätzliche steuerbare Klappe (14) der Heissluftleitung (8), die zwischen zwei Stellungen bewegbar ist, in deren erster sie einen Teil der Oberfläche des Pakets der Wärmeaustauschplatten überdeckt und in deren zweiter Stellung sie die gesamte Oberfläche des Pakets der Wärmeaustauschplatten freigibt. The system (100) includes metal hydride reactor modules (102, 104) aligned and separated by a partition (118); a shell containing the reactor modules (102, 104), the shell is compartmentalized to define separate insulated chambers for each of the reactor modules (102 & 104); and a bearing assembly (110) supporting the modules (102, 104) at a location about the partition (118), wherein the bearing assembly (110) rotates said modules (102, 104) about an axis during the absorption and the desorption mode. The system (100) reduces thermal inertia and pressure drop in the heat transfer medium while flowing through the heat pump, to enhance the performance and conserve energy.
