    摘要: A sheet of laminated carton-board like packaging material in the form of a sheet of laminated carton-board material (10) comprises a non-solid core (12) of lightweight material presenting a regular pattern of multi-sided in the form of hexagonally profiled open-ended cells (14) as defined between walls (16), adhesively affixed between opposing sheets of thin lightweight outer ply material (18) that are by themselves subject to bendable deformation. Lamination of the core (12) and the sheets (18) into the laminated sheet (10) strengthens them against folding in substantially all planar directions and in particular in the directions indicated by the axes (20 and 22) as extending transverse to one another; thus against folding actions as indicated by arrows (24). The firmness as imparted to the laminated sheet (10) by the core (12) is at least mainly a function of its patterning thus enabling its manufacturing from lightweight material.

The method comprises confining the at least one cylindrical embossing roller and the cambered counter roller in a single roller stand of relatively small outer dimensions designed to withstand a pressure for the at least one cylindrical embossing roller and the cambered counter roller; using on a surface of a first one of the at least one cylindrical embossing rollers at least one raised embossing element adapted for microstructure embossing, whereby one of the at least one raised embossing elements comprises a platform distant at a height in a range between 5 µm and 30 µm above a surrounding surface of the first cylindrical embossing roller adjacent to it, and a pattern engraved on top of the platform (5), whereby the pattern comprises the optically diffracting microstructures with periodicity of gratings in the range smaller than 30 µm that produce from a diffuse or directed source of light in the visible wavelength range diffraction images with high contrast and high luminosity in a defined observation angle; and adjusting the pressure for the at least one cylindrical embossing roller on the thin foil in a range less than 80 bar relative to a platform area of approximately 100 mm 2 .

    摘要: The invention concerns a precut seal for sealing a jar, typically made of polystyrene or polypropylene, of large volume ranging from 200 ml to 1 liter, formed by cutting out a multilayer material comprising an aluminium layer Al, a layer of plastic material MP and an inner sealing layer CS. The invention is characterized in that a) the thicknesses EA1 and EMP of the aluminium layers and or plastic material MP are such that EA1/EMP range between 0,5 and 4, b) the sum of the thicknesses EA1 + EMP ranges between 30 µm and 100 µm, c) the thickness EA1 of the aluminium layer ranges between 15 µm and 45 µm, d) said plastic material MP is typically a biaxially oriented film, comprising polyethylene terephthalate, and/or polyamide, and/or polypropylene, and/or polyethylene, e) said seal comprises destacking means, typically embossing means, selected such that the tear strength of an embossed seal or of said embossed multilayer material is not less than 80 % of the tear strength of a corresponding non embossed seal or of said multilayer material non embossed. The invention provides the advantages of obtaining perfectly flat seals, capable of being destacked, economical and with non elastic folding ensuring resealing of the jar after a first opening. Said seals exhibit high tear strength.
