Die Erfindung betrifft eine Lageraufnahme (2) in einem Lagerschild (1) für ein Lager (5) mit zylindrischer Außenkontur, in dem eine Welle gelagert ist und das Lager (5) in der Lageraufnahme (2) des Lagerschildes (1) formschlüssig gehalten ist, wobei der Formschluss auf der einem Anbauteil zugewandten Seite des Lagerschildes (1) durch zumindest einen urgeformten nach innen vorspringenden Aufnahmebereich (3) der Lageraufnahme (2) gebildet ist, an der zumindest ein Stirnseitenbereich des Lagers (5) anliegt. Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es bei einer gattungsgemäßen Lageraufnahme auf wirtschaftliche Weise für eine exakte Aufnahme eines Anbauteils zu sorgen, wobei eine stabile Festlegung des Lagers im Lagerschild gewährleistet ist und keine Nachbearbeitungsschritte benötigt werden um Anbauteile exakt positionieren und fügen zu können. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass Teile einer zylindrischen Außenkontur des Lagers (5) als Aufnahme- und Zentriermittel für das Anbauteil dienen.
