The clutch selectively transmits power from the crankshaft to the output shaft. A propulsion element is operatively connected to the output shaft. A hydraulic fluid supply system is fluidly connected to the clutch for supplying pressurized hydraulic fluid to the clutch. A controller is connected to the hydraulic fluid supply system. The controller receives a torque signal indicative of engine torque and controls the hydraulic fluid supply system based at least in part on the torque signal. A clutch control method and system are also disclosed.

Offenbart wird eine Nebenantriebsvorrichtung eines mobilen Arbeitsgeräts (1) mit einem elektronischen Steuergerät (14) zur Betätigung einer zwischen einem Getriebe (6) und einer Zapfwelle (10) angeordneten Zapfwellenkupplung (12), wobei das Steuergerät (14) erfindungsgemäß mit einer Anflanschfunktionseinheit ausgebildet ist, die bei Aktivierung eine Drehpositionskorrektur der Zapfwelle (10) bezüglich der Antriebswelle ausführt. Des Weiteren wird ein Verfahren zum An- und/oder Abkoppeln einer Bearbeitungsmaschine an die Nebenantriebsvorrichtung eines mobilen Arbeitsgeräts als Energiequelle vorgeschlagen mit den Verfahrensschritten: - Heranführen einer Antriebswelle der Bearbeitungsmaschine an das endseitige Keilwellenprofil einer Zapfwelle der Nebenantriebsvorrichtung. - Überprüfen der Relativdrehposition der Zapfwelle bezüglich der Antriebswelle der Bearbeitungsmaschine und - wahlweises Auslösen einer Anflanschfunktion der Nebenantriebsvorrichtung in Abhängigkeit vom Prüfungsergebnis der Relativposition zur elektronisch gesteuerten Drehpositionskorrektur der Zapfwelle bezüglich der Antriebswelle.

The invention relates to a simple action operation actuator provided with a hydraulic fast-opening valve for a friction clutch control arranged in a drive train of a motor vehicle. The inventive actuator comprises a cylinder-piston unit which produces a load pressure for the clutch. The aim of the invention is to develop a low cost simple fast-operating actuator which provides with inherent security. The inventive actuator consists of an adjustable pump (3) which produces a pressure fluid and supplies it to the cylinder-piston unit (1) by means of an automatic valve unit (2) which comprises a quick-discharge valve (8) provided with a bushing (10) and a slider (12) supported by a spring arranged therein. The bushing comprises a first opening (11) for discharging a hydraulic fluid from the cylinder-piston unit (1). The slider (12) releases the opening (11) in a first position and closes said opening in a second position, thereby the clutch being controlled by an electric motor.

A method of calibrating a hydraulically operated clutch in a continuously variable transmission of a vehicle, includes steps of filling the clutch as if for a shift, using a control signal value for achieving a test pressure, and determining a resulting change in a pressure condition in a hydrostatic power unit of the transmission. If the change indicates initial engagement, then a value representative of the signal value used is recorded. If greater than initial engagement is indicated, or the vehicle moved, then the clutch is emptied and tested using a lower test pressure. If initial engagement is not indicated, the clutch is emptied and refilled to a greater test pressure. An exemplary pressure condition is a difference in pressure in lines between a pump and motor of the power unit. During the calibration, the vehicle can be held stationary with a parking brake or the like.
