    摘要: A control system is provided for a multiple clutch transmission (10) having at least three synchronizers (74, 76, 78, 80) with opposed acting alpha and beta pressure chambers (106, 104) to selectively synchronize alpha or beta gears with a rotating shaft. The control system includes a pressure source (124), a sump (120), a first multiplex valve (160) having a first position allowing fluid communication of alpha and beta chambers for two synchronizers (74, 76) with the pressure source (122) and diverting alpha and beta pressure chambers (106, 104) of remaining synchronizers (80, 78) to sump (120). The first multiplex valve (160) has a second position reversing the above action. A second multiplex valve (164) connected with the first multiplex valve (160) having a first position connecting alpha and beta chambers (106, 104) of a given synchronizer with the pressure source (122) and alpha and beta chambers (106, 104) of the other synchronizer with the sump (120). The second multiplex valve (164) has a second position reversing the action. A first regulator valve (170) is connected with the second multiplex valve (164) for selectively connecting the alpha chamber (106) with one of a set of the pressure source (122) and the sump (120). A second regulator valve is provided connected with the second multiplex valve (164) for selectively connecting the beta chamber (104) with one of a set of the pressure source (122) and the (sump 120).

    摘要: To provide a gear-change control device for a straddle-type vehicle in which a friction clutch is operated by an actuator which can improve acceleration performance and prevent degradation of the ride quality at the time of gear change. A gear-change control device actuates an actuator in response to an input of a gear-change command and sets the clutch in an intermediate state between the engaged and disengaged states before a plurality of gears in the transmission are selectively engaged by dog clutches. In the intermediate state, a driving-side friction member and a driven-side friction member of the clutch are pressed against each other at a pressure lower than in the engaged state. The gear-change control device actuates the clutch actuator to restore the friction clutch set in the intermediate state to the engaged state after the plurality of gears are selectively engaged.

    摘要: In a vehicle provided with a clutch (4) which is disposed midway in a power transmission path by which power is transmitted from an engine to a transmission and which selectively enables and interrupts transmission of that power, when a condition for not reflecting operation of a clutch pedal in the clutch (4) has been fulfilled (i.e., "YES" in step S202, "YES" in step S206, and "YES" in step S208), the clutch (4) is maintained in a released state regardless of the operating state of the clutch pedal (step S210). This state continues until a condition for reflecting the operation of the clutch pedal in the clutch (4) again is fulfilled (i.e., "YES" in steps S212 and S214, or "NO" in step S202). Therefore, the clutch (4) is maintained in the released state even if the driver releases the clutch pedal. At this time, because the vehicle is stopped and the driver is shifting a shift lever into neutral, a feeling of unpleasantness is not imparted on the driver even if the operation of the clutch pedal is not reflected in the clutch (4).
