Flexible pipe bodies and methods for producing same are disclosed, als comprising a treatment step in order to reduce, inhibit or completely prevent microcrazing: A first method includes providing a tubular length of polymeric material for forming a polymeric layer of flexible pipe body, providing a strength layer radially outwards of the polymeric layer, and treating the polymeric layer with a non-ambient temperature and pressure. A second method includes providing a tubular length of polymeric material for forming a polymeric layer of flexible pipe body, providing a strength layer radially outwards of the polymeric layer, and treating a surface of the polymeric layer with a chemical to thereby change one or more physical property of the layer.

Nozzle for use in a device for automatic refuelling of vehicles, which nozzle in turn comprises a connecting means and a flexible filler pipe (100) with an open end (110), which filler pipe is arranged to, after the connecting means has been positioned in connection to an orifice of a tank pipe of the vehicle, be pressed, by an axial pressure applied to the filler pipe at a location spaced from the open end, with the open end first, into and down into the tank pipe and then to deliver the said fuel from a pump device, through the said open end and into the tank pipe. The invention is characterized in that the filler pipe comprises an inner fuel pipe (120) of flexible hard plastic material, through which fuel pipe fuel, which is delivered into the tank pipe, can flow on its way from the pump device, and an outer metal coil or a series of metal rings (130), in that the metal coil or metal rings is or are arranged to run in parallel to and outside of the fuel pipe, and in that the metal coil or metal rings is or are arranged to run in and along a recess (121) in the surface of the fuel tube.

A flexible hose for transporting fluid, particularly a flexible garden hose for transporting water. The hose comprises: at least one inner layer (10) made of a first elastic polymeric material; at least one outer layer (20) made of a second elastic polymeric material; at least one textile reinforcement layer (30, 40) interposed between said at least one inner layer (10) and at least one outer layer (20). The at least one inner layer (10) and the at least one outer layer (20) are reciprocally coupled to form a unitary tubular member (50) internally to which the at least one textile reinforcement layer (30, 40) is embedded. The unitary tubular member (50) has an elasticity such to automatically elongate upon the working pressure given by the liquid flowing therethrough to increase its original length and such to automatically recovery once the working pressure stops for assuming again the original length. The at least one textile reinforcement layer (30, 40) is susceptible to move from a rest configuration that has when the working pressure stops to a working configuration that has when said unitary tubular member (50) elongates upon the working pressure and vice-versa.

The present invention aims to provide a laminate in which a fluororesin layer and a fluororubber layer are firmly bonded. The present invention relates to a laminate including: a fluororubber layer (A); and a fluororesin layer (B) stacked on the fluororubber layer (A), the fluororubber layer (A) being formed from a fluororubber composition, the fluororubber composition containing a fluororubber, a low molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene, and a multifunctional compound, the amount of the multifunctional compound being 5 parts by mass or more relative to 100 parts by mass of the fluororubber.

To provide a fluorinated elastomer from which it is possible to produce a crosslinked article excellent in cold resistance and excellent in mechanical strength; a fluorinated elastomer composition containing said elastomer; and a fluorinated elastomer crosslinked article obtained by molding and crosslinking said composition. The fluorinated elastomer comprises units (A) based on vinylidene fluoride and units (B) based on a perfluorovinyl ether represented by CF 2 =CF-O-R f , and has iodine atoms at main chain terminals, wherein the molar ratio [(A)/(B)] of units (A) to units (B) is from 88/12 to 50/50. In the formula, R f is a C 1-20 perfluoroalkyl group having a branched structure, or a C 2-20 perfluoroalkyl group having a branched structure and also having an etheric oxygen atom between carbon atoms.
