The method also includes receiving a operating state input indicative of an operating state of the machine and selecting a control mode from at least one speed control mode in which the determined operational signal comprises a desired speed of the prime mover and at least one torque control mode in which the determined operational signal comprises a desired torque of the prime mover in response to the operating state input.

摘要: A vehicle engine control apparatus provides rotational speed synchronization control during a shift operation. A shift operation detecting component detects a shift position resulting from a manual shift operation of a manual transmission connected to an engine. A vehicle speed detecting component detects a vehicle speed. The computing component computes an input side transmission rotational speed value based on the vehicle speed and a gear ratio. A driving intent determining component determines a driver's driving intention. A rotational speed synchronization control component performs rotational speed synchronization based on a first target engine rotational speed value that is smaller than the input side transmission rotational speed value when a clutch is disconnected and a deceleration intention exists by the driver, and based on a second target engine rotational speed value that is equal to the input side transmission rotational speed value when the clutch is disconnected without the deceleration intention.

摘要: In an automatic transmission disabling engine braking to act at a given shift stage in a D range selected by manually operating a selector lever, and enabling engine braking to act at the given shift stage in an L range, the transmission includes first and second meshing mechanisms, a one-way clutch, a first linkage for meshing the first meshing mechanism in synchronism with N-to-D movement, and a second linkage for meshing the second meshing mechanism in synchronism with D-to-L movement. Also provided is a rotating part configured to permit a driving force to be transmitted from an input member via the one-way clutch with the first meshing mechanism meshed in the D range and further configured to permit a driving force to be transmitted from the input member not via the one-way clutch with the first and second meshing mechanisms, each of which is meshed, in the L range.

When a shift command is given for a gear ratio change, torque applied at the interlocking shift element to be disengaged is reduced to at least approximately zero, by a defined engine intervention, and the interlocking shift element is then disengaged from the force flow of the transmission device.

When a command is received for a gearshift during which the interlocking shift element (C) has to be changed from an open to a closed operating condition, the interlocking shift element (C) is at least approximately synchronized by increasing the transmission capacity of at least one frictional shift element (A) which does not have to be engaged in the force flow either to obtain the gear ratio that is to be disengaged or to obtain the gear ratio that is to be engaged.
