Um dennoch eine komfortable Antriebsschlupfregelung zu gewährleisten, weist die bekannte ASR/GB-Einrichtung ein System aus Blenden und Zusatzvolumina auf. Da dieses System für unterschiedliche Fahrzeugtypen speziell angepaßt werden muß, kann die Adaption der bekannten Einrichtung umständlich und aufwendig sein. Um die bekannte ASR/GB-Einrichtung mit einfachen Mitteln an unterschiedlichen Fahrzeugtypen adaptierbar zu machen, schlägt die Erfindung vor, eine Ventileinrichtung (17) mit von der Höhe des zugeführten Steuersignals abhängiger Druckaussteuerung einzusetzen und die Elektronik (3) der ASR/GB-Einrichtung so auszubilden, daß sie an die Ventileinrichtung ein Steuersignal abgibt, welches gerade zur Beseitigung des Durchdrehens bzw. des Überschreitens der höchst zulässigen Fahrgeschwindigkeit ausreicht.

The invention relates to a method for adjusting a brake system of motor vehicles consisting of a speed-regulating unit. Said speed-regulating unit can be used to regulate a predetermined speed of a vehicle by automatically intervening in said brake system whereby the function of the speed-regulating unit of the vehicle is deactivated if the brake system of said speed-regulating unit is activated at the same time as the brake is applied by the driver. Whenever braking is required by speed-regulating unit and the action of the driver applying the brake, the pressure (Px) applied in the wheel brake is reduced according to a predetermined function; the resulting brake pressure (Pres) which, preferably is regulated in the wheel brake of the vehicle is determined by the formula: Pres= PF + PX1 (PF * PX1 / constant Z).
