Each transverse control arm is fastened by means of a rubber bearing or joint on the longitudinal control arm, and furthermore a controller engages on the swivel bearing and in co-operation with a control element of said actuator converts a rotational movement of the actuator into a swivelling movement of the swivel bearing about the steering or spreading axis. In this case the axis of rotation for the rotational movement of the wheel-specific actuator is oriented at least approximately perpendicular to the transverse axis of the vehicle. By way of example the actuator is disposed at least partially in the interior of a bearing spring, by means of which the vehicle body is supported proportionately on the wheel.

The steering disc may provide translation of movement of the first cable portion and the second cable portion into corresponding movement of the rear wheels. The pulley assembly may be configured such that each pulley of the pulley assembly handles both the first cable portion and the second cable portion as the first cable portion and the second cable portion are conveyed from the steering column pulley to the steering disc to translate motion of the steering column pulley to the steering disc.

Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass das Zylinderrohr (48) um die Längsmittelachse (54) drehbar und axial unbeweglich am Fahrgestell (14) befestigbar ist, dass die Lenkung (32) am Zylinderrohr (48) oder an einem drehfest mit dem Zylinderrohr (48) verbundenen Bauelement (98) der Radaufhängung (44) angreift, und dass die Kolbenstange (50) eine Außenverzahnung (68) aufweist, die mit einer Innenverzahnung (66) des Zylinderrohrs (48) im Zahneingriff steht.
