    摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide a dosimeter capable of reading out a dose multiple times and excellent in biological tissue equivalence, and a radiation measuring method using this dosimeter. A dosimeter of the present invention comprises a detecting element containing magnesium oxide and a dose measuring system thereof is a radio-photoluminescence system. The detecting element preferably comprises a single-crystal body or a sintered body of magnesium oxide, and more preferably further contains a rare-earth element such as samarium. Moreover, the radiation measuring method of the present invention uses the dosimeter of the present invention and a dose measuring system thereof is a radio-photoluminescence system.

    摘要: The invention resides in an apparatus comprising an LED light source (134) for emitting a green illumination light (132) for illuminating an optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) sensor, a photodetector (162) for detecting of green luminescent light emitted by the OSL sensor, a pulse counter for counting photon pulses generated by a photodetector based on photons of luminescent light emitted by the OSL sensor and counted by the photodetector, and a microprocessor (166) for controlling the LED light source and the photodetector and the pulse counter. The microprocessor controls when the LED light source, the photodetector and the pulse counter are switched between an on state and an off state. The pulse counter is part of the microprocessor, and the microprocessor determines a radiation dose of one type of ionizing radiation to which the OSL sensor has been exposed based on the photon pulses counted by the pulse counter.

    摘要: Sensitive charge for passive dosimeter includes a plurality of flexible photostimulable screens designed to be stacked inside a dosimeter casing and each having a radiosensitive layer of radiophotoluminescent material which can therefore be read differentially by illumination. The screens being integral with a foldable support having two configurations, namely a folded detection configuration, in which the screens are stacked on one another, and an unfolded reading configuration, in which the screens are arranged alongside one another on the same face of the support. Intercalated sheets with reinforcing/absorbing effect can also be fixed to the support, alternating with the screens, the screens being separated from the adjacent screens by two folds and the sheets are separated from the adjacent sheets by two folds.
