A wideband frequency generator has two or more oscillators for different frequency bands, disposed on the same die within a flip chip package. Coupling between inductors of the two oscillators is reduced by placing one inductor on the die and the other inductor on the package, separating the inductors by a solder bump diameter. The loosely coupled inductors allow manipulation of the LC tank circuit of one of the oscillators to increase the bandwidth of the other oscillator, and vice versa. Preventing undesirable mode of oscillation in one of the oscillators may be achieved by loading the LC tank circuit of the other oscillator with a large capacitance, such as the entire capacitance of the coarse tuning bank of the other oscillator.; Preventing the undesirable mode may also be achieved by decreasing the quality factor of the other oscillator's LC tank and thereby increasing the losses in the tank circuit.

An oscillator attachment structure which prevents inference by a beat signal caused by mixture of a reference oscillation signal from a PLL circuit and an oscillation signal from an oscillator. A plate conductive rubber member (16), electrically connected to a ground conductor (12), is provided on the lower surface of a circuit board, and the conductive rubber member is placed on a ground conductive member of a printed circuit board. The ground conductor and the ground conductive member are electrically connected to each other, and the circuit board can be sufficiently grounded to the PLL circuit on the printed circuit board.

Bei einem Hochfrequenzgenerator für Kunststoff-Schweißmaschinen ist vorgesehen, daß er infolge Quarzsteuerung mit einer festen, d.h. von der Änderung der Blindwiderstände an der Schweißstelle während des Schweißvorganges unabhängigen Frequenz, arbeitet. Dabei wird die Resonanzfrequenz des Anodenkreises derart bestimmt, daß sie in dem Zustand, in dem kein Schweißvorgang stattfindet und somit sich noch keine Veränderung der Blindwiderstände als Folge der Verschweißung des Materials ergeben hat, höher liegt als die genannte feste Frequenz. Der Arbeitspunkt der Endstufe des Verstärkers liegt bei dieser genannten Frequenz auf der zur niedrigen Frequenz hin abfallenden Flanke der Resonanzkurve. Damit kann man erreichen, daß während des Schweißvorganges die Rückwirkung der Blindwiderstände im Auskoppelkreis und deren Veränderung beim Schweißvorgang die Resonanzfrequenz gerade um soviel verschiebt, daß der Arbeitspunkt über die Spitze der Resonanzkurve hinweg auf die zur höheren Frequenz abfallende Flanke wandert und auf diese Weise möglichst geringe Spannungsveränderungen während des Schweißvorganges in Kauf genommen werden müssen und somit eine maximale Leistung in das Material hineingebracht werden kann.

The invention relates to a high-frequency oscillator (1) comprising an electric resonant circuit (2), a high-frequency welding system and to a method for controlling the frequency using a high-frequency oscillator, in particular in a high-frequency welding system. Said electric resonant circuit (2) comprises at least one electronic component (3) having an inductance and at least one capacitor (4) having a capacitance. In order to control the frequency of the electric resonant circuit in a fast and wear-resistance manner, at least one additional magnetic coil (6) is associated with the electronic component (3) and can electronically influence the inductance of the electronic component (3).
