An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an actinic ray-sensitive or radiation-sensitive resin composition that is capable of forming a pattern having suppressed defects. In addition, another object of the present invention is to provide a pattern forming method including the method for producing an actinic ray-sensitive or radiation-sensitive resin composition, and a method for manufacturing an electronic device, using the pattern forming method. The method for producing an actinic ray-sensitive or radiation-sensitive resin composition of an embodiment of the present invention is a method for producing an actinic ray-sensitive or radiation-sensitive resin composition including at least a resin having a polarity that increases due to decomposition by the action of an acid, a compound that generates an acid upon irradiation with actinic rays or radiation, and a solvent, in which the compound that generates an acid upon irradiation with actinic rays or radiation includes one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of a compound (I) to (III) below, and the actinic ray-sensitive or radiation-sensitive resin composition is produced by mixing a first solution including the resin having a polarity that increases by the action of an acid and a first solvent with the one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of the compound (I) to (III).

The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of the mono sodium salt of the derivative 3,5-diiodo-O-[3-iodo-4-(sulphooxy)phenyl]-L-tyrosine (T3S) by starting from the corresponding phenolic compound, in the presence of chlorosulfonic acid and dimethylacetamide as a solvent. The so obtained T3S compound may conveniently be isolated in a pure form as a solid in good yields. The present invention further relates to the process for T3S preparation, wherein the starting reagent is T2 and further comprising the formulation of such compound in tablets. Furthermore, the invention discloses non-radioactive immunoassays based on T3S derivatives.

The present invention relates to an electrically conductive polymer, and more particularly to an additive for enhancing electrical conductivity of the polymer and electrically conductive polymer compositions containing the additive. The present invention provides a soluble self-orienting material(SOM) and an electrically conductive polymer composition containing the SOM. The SOM can be provided as a form of monomer having an aromatic ring with various polarity, flexible side chain and hydrophilic dibasic acid, as a form of complex consisting of the monomers linked by hydrogen bond or metal coordinate bond, or as a form of whole aromatic polymer having -NRCO-,-NROSO-(R: side chain including -H, -CO2H, -(CH2)nSO3H, -(CH2)nCO2H or -tert-butyloxycarbonyl) and -OCO-. And also, the composition of the present invention have higher electrical conductivity, more 103S/cm, than a conventional conductive polymer, and also have improved prodessability.

The invention relates to a process for purifying and decolorizing a phenyl ester salt. The process combines a phenyl ester salt with a solvent to form a mixture and then stirs the mixture to form a slurry. The phenyl ester salt is substantially insoluble in this solvent. The process then collects the phenyl ester salt from the slurry. The collected phenyl ester salt may then be optionally dried or recrystallized. The collected phenyl ester salt is dissolved in a solvent to form a solution. The solution is decolorized and then spray dried to form a powder of the phenyl ester salt. As a result of the process the phenyl ester salt powder has a higher purity and an improved color as compared to the starting phenyl ester salt.
