A fish counting system (3) has: an image acquisition unit (30) for acquiring a plurality of images wherein a fluid containing fish is imaged over time; a counting unit (34) for counting the fish on the basis of the plurality of images; a fish count change display provision unit (38) for providing a fish count change display (70), wherein a display (71) corresponding to the number of fish counted per unit time is arranged in a time-series manner; a result provision unit (36) for providing a counting result display (60) wherein an image (62) to which count completion marks (61) indicating a counted fish have been added; and a correction unit (37) for receiving a correction operation and correcting the number of fish.
摘要:
A biological fluid analysis system and method for measuring optical characteristics of a sample of biological fluid using a commercially available portable computing device having a camera, such as a smart phone. The system includes a scope, a case that attaches to the portable computing device, and a software application that runs on the portable computing device. Some embodiments of the invention include a sample slide having a viewing chamber that can be filled with a biological fluid to be analyzed by the biological fluid analysis system. The system may be adapted to analyze cow's milk to estimate the number of somatic cells per unit volume contained in the milk using a reagent that stains the somatic cells so that they will fluoresce when excited by light with a particular wavelength, with the light source in the scope being adapted to generate light of that particular wavelength.

A motion detection method, apparatus and system are disclosed in the present invention, which relates to the video image processing field. The present invention can effectively overcome the influence of the background on motion detection and the problem of object "conglutination" to avoid false detection, thereby accomplishing object detection in complex scenes with a high precision. The motion detection method disclosed in embodiments of the present invention comprises: acquiring detection information of the background scene and detection information of the current scene, wherein the current scene is a scene comprising an object(s) to be detected and the same background scene; and calculating the object(s) to be detected according to the detection information of the background scene and the detection information of the current scene. The present invention is applicable to any scenes where moving objects need to be detected, e.g., automatic passenger flow statistical systems in railway, metro and bus sectors, and is particularly applicable to detection and calibration of objects in places where brightness varies greatly.

The present invention relates to a method for the assessment of quantity and quality parameters of biological particles in blood or blood product. The method comprises applying a volume of a liquid sample to an exposing domain from which exposing domain electromagnetic signals from the sample in the domain can pass to the exterior, and exposing, onto an array of active detection elements such as CCD-elements, a spatial representation of electromagnetic signals having passed from the domain, the representation being detectable as an intensity by individual active detection elements, under conditions permitting processing of the intensities detected by the array of detection elements during the exposure in such a manner that representation of electromagnetic signals from the biological particles are identified as distinct from representations of electromagnetic signals from background signals. The enlargement of an image on the array of detection elements is smaller than 10:1.

An apparatus is described for counting the number of people crossing from one side of a given threshold to the other. The apparatus comprises a plurality of sensing means (10) for mounting above the threshold, each capable of detecting an item passing beneath it. Processing means compare the detection signals of each pair of adjacent sensing means to prevent the same person from being counted separately by the adjacent sensing means.
