    Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a welding structure capable of facilitating the inspection of quality of a welded portion and of improving the quality and function of a welded component in which a plurality of members are joined at the welded portion. In one embodiment of the present invention, the welding structure includes: a circular ring gear having a gear portion and a gear joint; and a case having a case joint joined to the gear joint. In the welding structure, the ring gear is fixed to the case at both axial direction ends of the ring gear by welded portions at which gear side welding surfaces, which are the welding surfaces of the gear joint, and case side welding surfaces, which are the welding surfaces of the case joint, are welded. At least one side welded portion in the axial direction is disposed outside the gear edge surface of the gear portion in the axial direction. Alternatively, at at least one side welded portion in the axial direction, the gear side welding surface and the case side welding surface are formed so as to be tilted with respect to the axial direction.
