PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a mouthpiece for forming a honeycomb structure, simply manufacturing the mouthpiece for forming a honeycomb structure of a hexagonal honeycomb shape with high accuracy. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of the mouthpiece for forming the honeycomb structure, a hexagonal honeycomb-shaped slit 5 is formed on one surface 7 of the plate-like mouthpiece base 2, and a backside hole 4 communicating with the slit 5 is formed on the other surface 8 of the mouthpiece base 2. A working fluid hole 3 with a bore diameter smaller than the width of the slit 5 is formed to a predetermined depth on one surface 7 of the mouthpiece base 2, and the backside hole 4 communicating with the working fluid hole 3 is formed on the other surface 8 of the mouthpiece base 2, whereby while the working fluid 10 for discharge machining is caused to flow from the other surface 8 side of the mouthpiece base 2 through the backside hole 4 and the working fluid hole 3 to one surface 7 side, one surface 7 of the mouthpiece base 2 is machined to a depth to communicate with the backside hole 4 by discharge machining, and the slit 5 of a hexagonal honeycomb shape is formed on one surface of the mouthpiece base 2. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for food material supply, which are capable of transporting a food material from a hopper to a measuring part with a simple structure, without crushing the food material, nor kneading the material, by preventing a shape of the material from being broken, capable of measuring and sorting the food material into a prescribed amount in the measuring part, and capable of supplying a next process with the measured and sorted food material. SOLUTION: This apparatus for food material supply has a piston pump 7 provided between a lower part of the hopper 3 and a hopper side end part of a first pipeline 4, wherein the piston pump 7 sucks the food material 2 from the hopper 3 and extrudes the sucked food material 2 into the first pipeline 4. Further, a suction side valve 8 is provided between the lower part of the hopper 3 and the piston pump 7, and an extrusion side valve 9 is provided between the piston pump 7 and the first pipeline 4. Furthermore, the apparatus is set so that the piston pump 7 sucks the food material 2, when the suction side valve 8 is opened and the extrusion side valve 9 is closed, and the piston pump 7 extrudes the food material 2, when the suction side valve 8 is closed and the extrusion side valve 9 is opened. SOLUTION: A previously heat-treated soybean raw material is fed to the rear end of a cylinder barrel (1) heated to a required temperature and crudely powdered and accumulated while being transferred to the top of the cylinder barrel (1) by rotatably driving a screw (5) and the soybean raw material accumulated by driving the screw (5) in an axis direction is passed through a screen (20) and a nozzle (17) attached to the top of the cylinder barrel (1) at a high speed under high pressure.
