    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk brake device which can effectively prevent generation of a squeal, a disk brake device which can prevent generation of a squeal by after adjustment, and a braking method of a disk brake device which can effectively prevent generation of a squeal. SOLUTION: In the disk brake device 1, brake friction pads 4, 5 arranged on both sides of the outer periphery of a disk brake plate 2 are pressed against the disk brake plate 2 by a biasing means including a piston 11 and a caliper pawl 12 so as to retain the disk brake plate 2 between both of the brake friction pads 4, 5, so that braking force is made to act. The planar pressure distribution of the brake friction pads 4, 5 with respect to the disk brake plate 2 is set not partially uniform in the radial direction of the disk brake plate 2.
