PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the industrial production of a 3-acylamino- thiophene derivative from 2-carboxymethyl-3-amino-thienyl in high yield by 3 steps comprising amidation, demethylation and decarbonation. SOLUTION: The improvement of the production method comprises the use of pyridine as the base to be used in the amidation reaction, the selection of a proper reaction solvent, the setting of the aging temperature in two steps, etc. The method is industrially advantageous because the 3 reaction stages can be carried out in the same reactor without separating the reaction product in each unit operation. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new anilide derivative useful as an active ingredient for new type antiarrhythmic medicines having high safety and free from a ventricular function-inhibiting action and an arhythmia-stimulating action. SOLUTION: An anilide derivative of formula I (R1 is a 1-3C alkoxy, a 1-3C alkyl or the like; R2, R3 are each H, a 1-3C alkoxy, a 1-3C alkyl or the like; R4, R5 are each H, a 1-4C alkyl, a 3-6C cycloalkyl or the like) or its pharmacologically acceatable salt, for examale, 4'-[2-(ethylamino) ethoxy]-2-(methanesulfonamido)benzanilide. The anilide derivative of formula I is obtained, for example, by condensing a carboxylic acid derivative of formula II with an aniline derivative of formula III in the presence of a condensing agent such as dicyclohexylcarbodiimide or carbonyldiimidazole. The anilide derivative of formula I can be used as an active ingredient to provide an antiarrhythmic medicine not affecting an ventricular function, especially an auricular arrhythmia-treating medicine.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an 2,2'-anhydro nucleic acid compound derivative and a L-cytidine derivative which are useful as intermediates of drugs and pesticides using inexpensive compounds as starting materials. SOLUTION: The 2,2'-anhydro nucleic acid compound derivative is obtained by reacting a compound represented by formula (2) [wherein, R1, R2, R3, R4, Q, X, Y and Z are each independently a particular group] with a compound represented by formula (3). With this reaction, the 2,2'-anhydro nucleic acid compound derivative useful as an intermediate of drugs and pesticides can be obtained from inexpensive compounds as starting materials. The L-cytidine derivative useful as an intermediate of drugs and pesticides can be obtained by synthesizing 2'-alkoxy cytidine directly from a 2,2'-anhydro cytidine derivative.
