    摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain the subject medicinal composition containing each specific benzimidazole and β-blocker, having synergistic effect for restoring the reactive adaptation of cardiac function. CONSTITUTION: This medicinal composition contains (A) a 5-(5-methyl-3-oxo-4,5- dihydro-2H-6-pyridazinyl)-benzimidazole substituted on the 2-site of the formula (R is a 1-5C alkyl, hydroxyphenyl or methoxyphenyl) having antiviral activity, interferon-inducing activity, antiulcer activity and cardiovascular activity (e.g. cardiotonicity, hypotensive activity, anti-coagulation activity) and (B) a β-blocker having excellent effect in treating ischemic cardiopathy when the myocardium has not been affected yet (e.g. atenolol, metoprolol, timolol). The doses of the respective ingredients for adult per once are as follows: A: 0.1-10.0mg, and B: 25-100mg (for atenolol) or 50-150mg (for metoprolol).
