Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-applying device capable of pressing the surface of a rock crystal uniformly in a hot press method. SOLUTION: An upper block 12 comes into contact with a bearing block 20, and the bearing block 20 is connected to an upper plate 21. The upper block 12 has a projected part 22 on its upper surface, which has been processed into a convex face having a radius R1. The bearing block 20 has a recessed part 23 on its rear surface, which has been processed into a concave face having a radius R2 (R2>R1). Thereby, the pressing face of the upper pressing plate 15 surely comes to imitate the face of the rock crystal substrate 11 at the time of pressing, and a uniform load is impressed to the rock crystal substrate 11. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical connection device for transferring large force, while preventing transmission of heat from a drive device to a moving member. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a connection device between a moving member (14) and the moving end (24b) of the drive device. It comprises: a mechanical connection member (34) in contact with the moving member; and a thermal insulation member (32) interposed between the mechanical connection element and the end of the drive device, whereby the heat produced by the drive device is substantially not transmitted to the moving member. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press that can perform press working such as punching with superior accuracy even if a press driving/pressurizing means like a press ram is inclined, and that can also perform press working without causing damage to a punch or the like or machining defect of a product even if a clearance is extremely narrow between the punch and die. SOLUTION: The press driving/pressurizing means and a punch holder are connected through a press load transmitting/connecting means and also in the manner maintaining their relative positions through a connecting rod whose mechanical strength is lower than that of a guide post for guiding the punch holder.
