    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a composite thermoplastic resin particle of a cylindrical shape containing an olefinic resin and a styrenic resin, which can be manufacture in a mold a composite thermoplastic resin foamed particle molding in which porosity is high, and which is excellent in adhesiveness between foamed particles and strength; and to provide a foaming composite thermoplastic resin particle, a composite thermoplastic resin foamed particle, and a composite thermoplastic resin foamed particle molding.SOLUTION: An olefinic resin seed particle 1 of a specific cylindrical shape is dispersed in an aqueous medium to obtain a seed particle dispersion. Subsequently, a styrene monomer is impregnated into the olefinic resin seed particle 1, and the polystyrene monomer is heated within a specific temperature range under the presence of a polymerization initiator and is polymerized to obtain the composite thermoplastic resin particle of a cylindrical shape. Moreover, the foaming composite thermoplastic resin particle formed by impregnating the foaming agent into the composite thermoplastic resin particle, the composite thermoplastic resin foamed particle formed by foaming the same, and the composite thermoplastic resin foamed particle molding formed by fabricating the same are disclosed.
