The two nozzles can supply fuel to the intake means 16 for fuel injection through only one nozzle 30 when the internal combustion engine operates in the combustion gas scavenging mode, and can supply fuel to the intake means 16 through one nozzle 30 of the two and to another intake means 14 through another nozzle 18 respectively when the internal combustion engine operates in the normal mode.
