PURPOSE: To provide the press of which a clutch mechanism is unnecessary and the number of blow per unit hour can be increased by connecting via a differential gear mechanism the upper and lower parts turrets having freely rotatable metal dies and the driving system to synchronously rotate respectively the upper and lower metal dies. CONSTITUTION: In case of the work by a turret punch press 1 a work 47 is located, the rotation of he sun gear 31 of a differential gear mechanism 28 is restricted and the motor 16 of TDU of the turret driving system is driven. The upper and lower parts turrets 6, 7 are thus rotated in the same direction by the same angle synchronously, the using upper and lower metal dies 43, 45 are located and the rotation of each turret is fixed by a pin 46. Now when the motor 33 of the metal die driving systems CDU is rotated at the prescribed angle with releasing from the stoppage holding state, the sun gear 31 of a planetary gears 27 is rotated and the metal dies 43, 45 are synchronously driven rotatively by the prescribed angle. SOLUTION: In a state where a reference plane 62 on the tip side of a cutter holder 43, to which a cutter blade 42 is attached, is brought into contact with a surface of a base material (b) of the supporting adhesive tape DT; the cutter blade cuts the support adhesive tape DT, while making the reference plane of the cutter holder 43 follow the surface of the base material. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut data creating apparatus, a cut data creating program and a sewing machine, which create cut data for forming a gap having a predetermined pattern in a processing fabric in a short time.SOLUTION: A sewing machine mounting a plurality of cut needles each having a blade at its tip end, instead of a sewing needle, includes a CPU. The CPU acquires a pattern of a gap to be formed in a processing fabric (S11). The CPU specifies any point on the pattern of the gap as a needle dropping point (S13). The CPU specifies the cut needle to be pierced to the needle dropping point on the basis of a direction of the pattern (S15). The CPU specifies the number of consecutive times when the specified cut needle is pierced to the processing fabric in order. When the number of consecutive times is less than a predetermined threshold, the CPU replaces the cut needle having the number less than the predetermined value with another cut needle to be pierced to the needle dropping point immediately before or after the cut needle (S17) to create cut data (S23).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate skilled cutting and to enable automation of the cutting process in an article truck driving system of a slicer by economically controlling the advance/retreat reciprocation of the truck using a sensor. SOLUTION: The driving system of the truck 2 carrying articles 7 in the slicer includes a motor and carries out opening/closing of a beam route 19 virtually vertical to a contact plate 4 of the articles 7 after cutting the articles with a rotating blade 5. A control device 22 makes the truck 2 advance by closing the beam route 19. The control device 22 makes the truck 2 retreat by opening the beam route 19. The switch is turned off by the next opening of the beam route 19, or switching is carried out to the next stroke in the automatic operation. Joints 12, 13 are activated to the opposite direction to each other by a belt mechanism 9 on the primary side and alternately connected to the control device 22. PURPOSE: To automatically and surely obtain the most suitable speed of swaing, by classifying the quality of a material to be cut off and manually setting a speed of sawing, performed by a stepless speed change gear, to be checked through a closed loop system so as to start the actual sawing after completion of setting the speed of sawing. CONSTITUTION: When a material to be cut off is sawn at a speed of sawing corresponding to its quality of being cut, if one of the switches 103AW103D selecting a speed of sawing is pressed, a corresponding voltage signal, being output through the corresponding constant voltage means 105AW105D, controls an electric motor 95 through an electric motor control circuit 109, changing the position of a movable cone 49m in a stepless speed change driving sprocket 49, thus the speed of sawing is adjusted. Detecting this position of the cone by a detecting means 97 to be compared with a preset voltage signal by a comparator 107, said position is controlled by the control circuit 109 so that the compared deviation of zero may be obtained. Then if the deviation becomes zero, a start signal of sawing is output to a sawing control means 111. In such way, the speed of sawing, being automatically further surely obtained, enables the material to be efficiently cut off without causing any decrease of a saw tooth life.
