    摘要: To provide a display device including a flexible panel that can be handled without seriously damaging a driver circuit or a connecting portion between circuits. The display device includes a bent portion obtained by bending an element substrate. A circuit for driving the display device is provided in the bent portion and a wiring extends from the circuit, whereby the strength of a portion including the circuit for driving the display device is increased and failure of the circuit is reduced. Furthermore, the element substrate is bent in a connecting portion between an external terminal electrode and an external connecting wiring (FPC) so that the element substrate provided with the external terminal electrode fits the external connecting wiring, whereby the strength of the connecting portion is increased.

    摘要: The present invention provides a radio field intensity measurement device having a display portion with improved visibility, in the case of measuring a weak radiowave from a long distance. In the radio field intensity measurement device, a battery is provided as a power source for power supply and the battery is charged by a received radiowave. When a potential of a signal obtained from the received radiowave is higher than an output potential of the battery, the power is stored in the battery. On the other hand, when the potential of the signal obtained from the received radiowave is lower than the output potential of the battery, power produced by the battery is used as power to drive the radio field intensity measurement device. As an element to display the radio field intensity, a thermochromic element or an electrochromic element is used.

A thin film transistor includes a gate electrode provided over a substrate; a gate insulating film provided to cover the substrate and the gate electrode; a first island-shaped semiconductor layer and a second island-shaped semiconductor layer each formed as a stack of a microcrystalline semiconductor layer and a buffer layer with a depression on an upper surface thereof, over the gate electrode with the gate insulating film interposed therebetween; a conductive semiconductor layer; and a conductive layer provided on the conductive semiconductor layer. The conductive semiconductor layer is provided between the first island-shaped semiconductor layer and the second island-shaped semiconductor layer in contact with the gate insulating film.

The thickness of the amorphous semiconductor film is larger than that of the microcrystalline semiconductor film.

    摘要: An anti-fuse memory device includes a plurality of word lines, a plurality of bit lines, and a memory cell provided with respect to an intersecting portion of any of the plurality of word lines and any of the plurality of bit lines. Memory cell includes a PIN diode and an anti-fuse. An anode of the PIN diode is electrically connected to any of the bit lines. A cathode of the PIN diode is electrically connected to a first terminal of the anti-fuse. A second terminal of the anti-fuse is electrically connected to any of the word lines. The anti-fuse includes a silicon layer and an insulating layer which are interposed between electrodes.
