Abstract:
A method and an apparatus are used for providing information about printing plates to be manufactured for a new production of a printing press. A point of use of at least one of the printing plates is visualized on a display. Several different positions exist at the point of use of each respective printing plate. Each may relate to one of several installation positions on a plate cylinder disposed in the printing press. These can also relate to storage positions of a printing plate magazine. Using the display, several different points of use in the printing area, for a particular printing plate, are displayed. The display depicts which one of the positions of use is to be provided. The display additionally depicts different states or properties of at least one printing plate. It may also depict a print location of a printing plate on a transport path.
Abstract:
A page of a printed product having a plurality of information fields arranged in different printed columns is provided. At least one perforated line, extending parallel to the height of the page, is generated in the page between at least two printed columns. The at least one perforated line is formed over the entire height of the page. At least one printed column, along with its at least one information field, can be completely separated from the remaining part of the page via a separation process to be performed along a single such perforated line. The perforated line to be used to execute the separation process extends through a pictogram that is situated along both sides of this perforated line. The pictogram visualizes the position of this perforated line. A longitudinal perforation device for a web-fed rotary printing press can be used to produce this page and has at least one perforating blade for generating the perforated line. The longitudinal perforation device is configured as an autonomous module. That module can be used in different places in the same web-fed rotary printing press or at different times in different web-fed rotary printing presses.
Abstract:
A catalyst comprising a 1) complex comprising: a) at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Group 8 metals, Group 9 metals, Group 10 metals, and combinations thereof, b) a compound having the formula R3X wherein R is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, an alkyl, an alkenyl, an alkynyl, cycloalkyls, cycloalkenyls, cycloalkynyls, aryls, substituted aryls, and substituted organic compounds and wherein X is a Group 15 element selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, phosphorus, arsenic, antimony and bismuth; and 2) support component comprising a silicon-containing compound and a method of making said catalyst, is disclosed. The catalyst is then used to dehydrogenate hydrocarbons in a dehydrogenation reaction zone under dehydrogenation reaction conditions.
Abstract:
The invention relates to particles comprises of organopolysiloxane microgel particles having a diameter of 5 to 200 nm and organo-aluminum compounds immobilized thereon. The particles can be used as cocatalysts together with metal compounds of the 4, 5, 6 and 8-10 sub-groups of the periodic table for oligomerization, cyclization of polymerization of olefins.
Abstract:
A method of making a heterogenously supported catalyst useful in dimerization, oligomerization or polymerization is provided in which a catalyst precursor containing a metal and an aromatic group are alkylated onto an oligomeric support having at least one terminal unsaturated group by Friedel Crafts alkylation.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a catalyst composition for polymerising olefin monomers to polyolefins comprising a catalyst component and a first additive component. The first additive component is a fossil and may for example be obtained from coal.

A method and an apparatus are used for providing information about printing plates to be manufactured for a new production of a printing press. A use of at least one of the printing plates, at its point of use in the printing press, is visualized on a display of a display apparatus. Several different positions exist at the point of use of each respective printing plate. Each of those different positions may relate to one of several installation positions on a plate cylinder comprising the several installation positions and disposed in the printing press. These can also relate to one of several storage positions of a printing plate magazine of the printing press comprising several storage positions. By use of the display, several different points of use in the printing area, for a particular printing plate, are displayed simultaneously. The display depicts which one of the positions of use, of the several possible provided parts of use, is to be provided. The display additionally depicts different states or properties of at least one printing plate that has been manufactured or that is to be manufactured. It may also depict a print location of a printing plate on a transport path to the printing press.
