摘要: Methods and systems for monitoring parking areas and/or recommending a parking spot or a parking area to a driver are provided. The methods and systems can operate using incomplete camera or sensor coverage and minimal additional overhead. A method for assigning parking locations can include providing a first parking area and a second parking area, providing a means for determining a first parking area density and a means for determining a second parking area density, calculating a first parking index for the first parking area and a second parking index for the second parking area, providing a user interface suitable for assigning parking areas to drivers, and providing an assigned parking area based on the means for determining the first parking area density, the means for determining the second parking area density, the first parking index, and the second parking index.

摘要: Techniques and systems for facilitating the calibration of oscillation frequencies for an analog audio synthesizer are disclosed. Included are embodiments for performing the initial calibration of an audio synthesizer and for continuously compensating for the frequency irregularities which originate from insufficient calibration and/or frequency drift of the oscillator circuits. Embodiments can utilize the microcontroller already present in most synthesizers and require no further hardware.

摘要: A cross street station and interchange for use at the intersection of a local traffic artery with significant pedestrian-oriented improvements and features that runs between but not through two communities and a primary traffic artery that divides two dissimilar communities. It uses a variable bi-level regional mass transit platform for ticketed passengers lowered from the upper level of the cross street station and interchange to the street level and provide a platform level with the regional mass transit vehicle floor and a ramp to the height elevation of the sidewalk to disembark arriving regional mass transit passengers and allow for the boarding of the new mass transit passengers. The cross street station and interchange includes in close proximity to this platform a metropolitan mass transit stop on the primary traffic artery and local community transit services stop on the local traffic artery that can also accommodate paratransit passengers.

摘要: A method of informed, multi-modal travel from one or more potential routes to a defined destination includes using real-time travel-related data relative to one or more inputs of present traffic flow, emergency events, special community events, weather, historic traffic-affecting trends, and parking conditions at an informed traveler's destination; providing at least one output of using an historical database of the above real time data; generating a spatial analysis of real-time traffic flow and other traffic data; applying predictive and analytic models having rule-based constraints to selective outputs of said steps; providing guidance as to time allowed for and directions to make intermodal transfers; accounting for personal and medical information supplied by the traveler; confirming authorized users by identity confirmation and management; and providing user and management wireless access portals to the informed traveler.

摘要: A data extractor system for extraction, deformatting, and postformatting of data available on the WWW. A user, connected to the Internet/Web, contacts a fee-based intermediate data service which provides an interface to determine various aspects of the user's query, including output format. The intermediate data service generates a Java stripping agent which is sent to the user's browser to interface with a third party data provider. The Java stripping agent contains the knowledge to strip away the formatting of user interfaces. The system will allow buffering and streamlining between the user and web data providers; converting visual presentation of information into data for further processing, translating one data request into a cascade of data requests and pasting results together, filtering data output; allowing a variety of presentations of data different from the original presentation; optional dataflow between the user's applications and the third-party data providers bypassing interactive interfaces.

摘要: Methods of communicating, displaying, and storing information relating to structures, as well as apparatuses for executing such methods, are provided. The methods can be executed on touchscreen electronic devices and may be particularly useful for shopping center, cruise ship, museum, and construction applications. The methods and apparatuses allow for, for example, reviewing a building's interior, finding information on areas within a building, and navigating from a current location to a destination. A method can include defining a structure using elements, wherein the elements are three dimensional shapes, and manipulating the elements or the structure on a user interface. A user is therefore able to obtain important information about the structure clearly and effortlessly.
