    摘要: The invention relates to a ball bearing (1) provided with a bearing ring (3,4) and a cage (5, 35), in addition to at least one run-on surface (15) which is mounted on the bearing ring (3,4). The cage (5, 35) is provided with pockets (9, 41) which are adjacent to each other and which are arranged on the side of the periphery around the rotational axis (1a, 35a) of the ball bearing (1). Each pocket (9, 41) is defined in a demodulated axial first direction of the first edge (11, 36) by means of the axis of rotation (1a, 35a), in addition to being at least partially defined in at least one second direction of the second edge (12, 37) which is counter to the first direction, and at least one of the edges (11, 12, 36, 37) is defined in a radial direction by a radial guide surface (14, 45), whereby the guide surface (14,45) lies opposite the run-on surface (15) in at least a radially defined manner.

    摘要: A cage for a ball bearing comprised of two generally ridge-shaped ring parts, the respective axially projecting ridges of which are cooperatively placed to define respective pockets for the balls. The plane of separation between the two ring parts is shifted axially off the center and toward one of the ring parts. In the ring part with the axially larger ridges, the circumferentially opposite ends of the respective ridges are at least nearly flat, in the plane through the centers of the balls. The axially deepest surfaces of the ridges are also at least nearly flat, at the axially opposite sides of the cage, which is generally in the respective axial plane through the center of each ball. This prevents jamming of the balls, even in the case of defective manufacture or defective connection of the ring parts.

    摘要: The disclosure concerns an anti-friction bearing between a rotating shaft and an external bushing. The bearing includes two axially spaced apart rows of bearing balls. A feed bushing is disposed in the space between the shaft and the external bushing and between the two rows of bearings. The feed bushing is open at the axial ends for dispensing lubricant to the rows of bearings at the axial ends of the feed bushing. The feed bushing holds lubricant, such as grease, in itself for being dispensed at the axial ends of the feed bushing. A porous elastic material may be disposed in the feed bushing for being impregnated with the lubricant. The feed bushing, and also the porous material if used, are elastic and resilient to permit deflection of the shaft with respect to the external bushing. Various shape and configuration feed bushings are disclosed. A lubricant recharging hole passes through the external bushing and communicates to the feed bushing.

    摘要: An anti-friction bearing unit, particularly for use in an exhaust gas turbo charger. The unit includes two anti-friction bearings axially spaced apart from each other on a shaft. High temperature occurs on one end of the shaft. A precise mounting is provided which is not sensitive to high temperatures on at least the axial side exposed to high temperature. The bearing outer ring, which is the ring not subject to high temperatures, consists of one piece. The bearing inner ring is widened and divided into two sections at its axial middle. The axial portion of the divided inner ring which is exposed to high temperature consists of material of high heat resistance. The high heat resistance material is, for example, 80 MoCrV 42 16 (M 50) or X 102 CRMo 17 (AISI 440 C). An additional intermediate ring around the shaft at the high temperature and helps reduce heat transmission.

    摘要: An antifriction bearing with an outer ring, inner ring, a row of balls between the rings and an open radial space between the rings. A sealing disc at one axial side of the rings seals the open space between the outer and inner rings. The sealing disc also serves as a pulse ring. It comprises a metal part having a plurality of openings of preferably rectangular cross-section through it. The metal part is at least partially surrounded by a covering nonmetallic layer of plastic or rubber which also fills the openings. The sealing disc is attached to one of the rings, and preferably to the outer ring to rotate with the outer ring with respect to the other, inner ring and the sealing disc is sealed to the inner ring.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for lubricating and cooling a bearing that is subject to high loads and to a device for carrying out said method. The invention is characterized by dissolving a lubricant in a supercritical gas that is cooled down to a low temperature and feeding the gas/lubricant mixture to the baring. The gas/lubricant mixture is relaxed in the bearing area, thereby releasing the lubricant and lubricating the bearing. The now subcritical gas that is cooled down to a low temperature is used for cooling and is discharged to the exterior. The gas used is carbon dioxide (CO2) and the lubricant is a hydrocarbon-based lubricant.
