摘要: The apparatus comprises a motor, a motor driver, a pulse generator, an MCU incorporating a memory, and an open/close switch. The MCU compares the motor load torque detected at the time of opening or closing the window, with a reference value stored in the memory; when the torque considerably exceeds the reference value, it concludes that there is a foreign object caught in the window and stops or reverses the motor and inactivates the function of foreign object detection until there is no transitional torque fluctuation in the transitional period from a start of the motor. The MCU compares the torque variation per unit time with a permissible variation range stored in the memory; when the number of successive torques which fall within the permissible variation range reaches a maximum permissible number of such successive torques stored in the memory, it activates the function of foreign object detection.

摘要: There is provided a passive keyless entry system transmitting a request signal at a predetermined time period from a vehicle-side device, transmitting an answer signal when a portable device has received the request signal, and comprising a control unit that performs predetermined control if the answer signal is received or not received by the vehicle-side device. The portable device includes a portable device control unit that detects the intensity of the request signal transmitted from the vehicle-side device, and is adapted such that, if the intensity of a request signal has changed by a predetermined value or more compared with the intensity of a previously received request signal, a normal answer signal is transmitted as the answer signal, and that, if the intensity of the request signal has changed by less than a predetermined value, a simple answer signal that is shorter than the normal answer signal is transmitted as the answer signal.

摘要: When an operation switch of a motor control circuit is switched on or when the operation switch and an automatic operation switch are simultaneously switched on, a switching device is switched on to energize a relay winding and a contact in the relay is switched to drive a motor. When an overcurrent is passed to a current detecting resistor and a temperature rise in the current detecting resistor is detected by the temperature dependent resistor and/or when a rise in a voltage across terminals of the current detecting resistor is detected by an overvoltage detecting circuit, the switching device is switched off via the bias circuit to thereby stop the driving of the motor.

摘要: In a method of detecting a foreign matter caught by a window in a power window device which includes a window opening/closing motor, a motor drive unit, a pulse generator for generating pulses corresponding to the rotation of the motor, an MCU for executing overall control and drive processing and manually-operated switch unit, the MCU detects a parameter value indicating a motor load imposed on a window when the window is opened and closed through the motor drive unit, compares the parameter value with a preset reference median, determines that a foreign matter is caught by the window when the parameter value falls outside the reference median in a considerable amount and stops the drive of the motor or reverses the motor, wherein the reference median that is preset in the range where a foreign matter is detected within the entire moving region of the window is successively changed stepwise by the same displacement value. With the method arranged as described above, the storing area of a memory can be effectively used as well as the storing area can be reduced while maintaining the certainty of the detection of a foreign matter caught by the window.

摘要: A keyboard having an encoder in the form of a microcomputer includes an automatic reset circuit and a key matrix circuit. The microcomputer constantly feeds a key scanning signal to the key matrix and to the automatic reset circuit. If a program used in the microcomputer gets out of control as by external noise, the key scanning signal is ceased. The automatic control circuit detects such stoppage of the key scanning signal that extends over a given period of time, and the circuit then supplies a reset signal to the microcomputer to automatically restart it from the beginning of the program.
