The feedback can include an opinion relating to the item and demographic information relating to an entity that provided the opinion. The feedback service can provide the feedback to the user device and/or other entities.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for selecting a speech recognition model in a standardized speech recognition infrastructure. The system receives speech from a user, and if a user-specific supervised speech model associated with the user is available, retrieves the supervised speech model. If the user-specific supervised speech model is unavailable and if an unsupervised speech model is available, the system retrieves the unsupervised speech model. If the user-specific supervised speech model and the unsupervised speech model are unavailable, the system retrieves a generic speech model associated with the user. Next the system recognizes the received speech from the user with the retrieved model. In one embodiment, the system trains a speech recognition model in a standardized speech recognition infrastructure. In another embodiment, the system handshakes with a remote application in a standardized speech recognition infrastructure.

    Abstract: An interface prompts a user to enter a marker during a communications session, in which the user is able to later provide a subsequent version of the marker. Initially, a first version of the marker is received from the user. A processor associates the first version of the marker received from the user with a particular position in an information tree and stores the particular position in the information tree associated with the first version of the marker. A second version of the marker is received from the user and in response, the user is returned to the particular position in the information tree that has been stored and associated with the first version of the marker received from the user.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, methods, and media for filtering a data stream are provided. The data stream is partitioned into a plurality of data stream segments. An acoustic parameter is measured in each of the data stream segments. It is determined whether the acoustic parameter satisfies a first predetermined condition. The first predetermined condition includes a number of variances, in which the acoustic parameter exceeds a predetermined variance threshold, exceeding a predetermined number threshold. An extraneous portion of the data stream is identified in which the first predetermined condition is satisfied. It is determined whether the extraneous portion satisfies a second predetermined condition in the data stream. The extraneous portion is deleted from the data stream to produce a filtered data stream in response to the second predetermined condition being satisfied.
