Abstract:
The device for visually checking the degree of clogging of an air filter in motor vehicle engines according to the invention comprises a tubular duct closed at one end and provided with a wall of filter material communicating with an outlet pipe connectable to the engine combustion air intake manifold downstream of the filter, in the side walls of the tubular duct there being provided at least one transparent region opposite the filter material wall and arranged to allow the surface of the filter material wall to be viewed, the tubular duct being in communication with the external environmental from which the air is drawn.
Abstract:
The refrigeration system of the invention comprises a vapor generator member connected to a condenser which is itself connected, by way of a pressure reduction valve, to an evaporator connected to an absorber which receives the liquid present in the lower zone of the generator and from which liquid is fed to the upper zone of the generator, there being provided in the generator a heat exchanger through which the engine cooling liquid flows, the generator member and absorber member containing a refrigerant fluid and an absorbent fluid, the absorbent fluid being able to absorb or dissolve the refrigerant fluid, which can itself be distilled or separated from the absorbent fluid by the addition of heat which is supplied to the generator by the heat exchanger present in it, and be condensed and vaporized under the temperature and pressure conditions prevailing in the condenser and evaporator respectively.
Abstract:
An emulsifying assembly for immiscible liquids comprises a metering-mixing device and an emulsifying device coupled thereto. The metering-mixing device includes two supply ducts for the liquids to be mixed and an output duct for the formed mixture, the ratio of the two liquids being held constant by an integral shutter unit effective to control the passage cross-section of the fluid supply ducts. The emulsifying device comprises a base body by which a tapering passage is formed communicating with a constant cross-section cylindrical duct leading to a plenum chamber from which the emulsified mixture is discharged.
Abstract:
The filter according to the invention comprises an outer casing which is provided with an end cover having a connection to the engine lubrication circuit. The outer casing houses a first filter pack or element positioned to be passed through by the engine lubricating oil. A pressure relief valve, which allows the oil to bypass the first filter pack or element in the case of excessive pressure drop, is provided. The pressure relief valve cooperates with a piston element associated with an electrically conducting spring to establish electrical connection between an electrical contact and a part of the filter casing. A second filter pack or element is positioned to filter part of the oil which the pressure relief valve allows to pass when a high pressure drop in the oil flow through the first filter pack or element occurs.
Abstract:
