    摘要: According to one embodiment, an X-ray computed tomography apparatus includes an X-ray tube, a detector, a first DAS, and a second DAS. The radiation detector includes a plurality of detection elements. Each detection element repeatedly detects X-rays generated by the X-ray tube and transmitted through a subject and repeatedly generates an electrical signal corresponding to the energy of the repeatedly detected X-rays. The first DAS acquires the electrical signal detected by part of the imaging region of each detection element in the integral mode. The second DAS acquires the electrical signal detected by the other part of the imaging region of each detection element in the photon count type mode.

    摘要: Provided is a magnetic recording medium which maintains high vertical orientation of a vertical magnetic layer, and which is capable of realizing high recording densification. In the magnetic recording medium, at least a soft magnetic underlying layer (30), seed layers (31, 32), an orientation control layer (33), and a vertical magnetic layer are laminated in this order on the non-magnetic substrate. The soft magnetic underlying layer (30) has an amorphous or microcrystalline structure. The seed layers (31, 32) include a first seed layer (31) formed from a metal oxide or a metal nitride, and a second seed layer (32) which is formed on the first seed layer and is formed from a metal formed with an island-shape or a net shape. In the orientation control layer (33) and the vertical magnetic layer, respective crystal grains constitute columnar crystals that are continuous in a thickness direction based on the second seed layer (32).

    摘要: A perpendicular magnetic recording medium is provided, which has a soft magnetic layer, a seed layer, a first intermediate layer, a second intermediate layer and a perpendicular magnetic recording layer, formed in this order on a non-magnetic substrate, and is characterized in that the seed layer is comprised of a (002) crystal plane-orientated hcp structure, the first intermediate layer is comprised of a (110) crystal plane-orientated bcc structure and the second intermediate layer is comprised of a (002) crystal plane-orientated hcp structure. The (110) crystal plane-orientated bcc structure comprises at least 60 atomic % of Cr. The magnetic recording medium has fine and well discrete magnetic crystal grains with extremely small size and exhibits good perpendicular orientation in the perpendicular magnetic recording layer, and thus, the medium is capable of recording and reproducing information with high density.

    摘要: A helical scan type digital recording/reproducing apparatus arranged such that data corresponding to m fields/frames are divisionally recorded in n tracks on a magnetic tape and a slow, still or frame advance reproduction mode is effected in response to an instruction from an external input. The apparatus is equipped with a signal processing circuit coupled to a rotary head for inputting data reproduced from the magnetic tape by the rotary head to store the reproduced data in a memory. In response to the instruction for the slow, still or frame advance reproduction mode, the signal processing circuit outputs a control signal when the data corresponding to one or more frames/fields are stored in the memory. Also included is a servo circuit coupled through a signal line to the signal processing circuit to be responsive to the control signal from the signal processing circuit. The servo circuit controls a capstan motor in accordance with the control signal and the reproduction mode instruction.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a magnetic recording medium including at least a non-magnetic substrate, a soft magnetic underlayer, an orientation control layer that controls an orientation of an immediate upper layer, and a perpendicular magnetic layer in which a magnetization easy axis is mainly perpendicularly oriented with respect to the non-magnetic substrate so as to be laminated one another on the non-magnetic substrate. The perpendicular magnetic layer includes two or more magnetic layers, and each layer is subjected to a crystal growth such that each crystal grain composing each magnetic layer forms a columnar crystal continuous in a thickness direction together with the crystal grains composing the orientation control layer. The orientation control layer, formed of a Co—Cr alloy, is formed by the reactive sputtering using a mixture of a sputtering gas and nitrogen.
