Abstract:
This invention relates to a doorstop means particularly for a motor vehicle, and in which a draw rod is articulated at one end to the door upright by means of a pin that is substantially parallel to and spaced from the hinge pin and the door itself. The other end of the draw rod carries a finger movable in a slotted member secured to the door, the slot running parallel to the door plane but branching into two extensions of the end nearest the hinge pins, one extension curving inwardly towards the door but the other extension extending substantially perpendicularly to the door to form a catch in which the finger on the draw rod engages to lock the door in a fully open or an intermediate position.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a bumper constituted at least by one central element and two stops, each comprising a reinforcement rigidly fixed to the central element, wherein the reinforcement of each stop is rigidly fixed to a movable panel articulated to a rigid frame, while the reinforcement is in abutment on the frame when the panel is in closed position with respect to said frame.
Abstract:
A sliding automobile door is actuated by a rack and pinion driven by an electric motor through a worm and worm wheel. In the event of failure of the motor the worm and worm wheel can be disengaged by a control slide accessible both from the interior of the vehicle and from beneath the bonnet, hood or other cover of another compartment of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A vehicle with a sliding door or doors in which a hollow, quadrilateral frame in which said door is slidable is manufactured separately from the remainder of the vehicle, being fixed to the vehicle body after completion of the latter and preferably after the equipping of the frame with all necessary runners, latch members and the like fittings for the door and possible after the insertion of the door or doors into the frame. According to another feature of the invention the opening movement of a sliding door lifts an armrest from a normal to a raised position, the armrest pivotting on a pillar fixed to the floor of the vehicle. Preferably the armrest forms with a member fixed thereto a fork in which a finger projecting from the door engages when the door is opened, thus ensuring that the armrest returns from its raised to its normal position as the door is closed.
Abstract:
A device ensuring sealing between fixed or movable removable panels and their frame, especially for automobile vehicles, and comprising: a fixed frame element, a movable panel the flanges of which are faired so as to be substantially in alignment with the profile of the frame, and at least one sealing joint fixed on the panel or on the frame in such manner that when the panel comes side by side with its frame there is an interval between the panel flange and the frame, determining the opening of a gutter the bottom of which is constituted by the said joint.
