    Abstract: A steering angle detection device is provided with a plurality of rotation angle sensors and a plurality of control units. The rotation angle sensors are capable of at least continuously calculating a rotation speed while an ignition switch of a vehicle is turned off, and are provided so as to correspond to steering angle calculation units which calculate steering angle based on the rotation speed and a rotation angle acquired from the rotation angle sensors and midpoint information related to the neutral position of a steering member. Power supplies are provided on a per-system basis. The rotation angle sensors or the control units are capable of holding the midpoint information while the ignition switch is turned off. If a power supply abnormality resulting in power supply failure occurs in some of the systems, the control unit of the abnormal system acquires the midpoint information and the rotation speed from the control unit of a normal system when the ignition switch is turned on.

    Abstract: A circuit board is held by a holding member. A connector portion is located on an opposite side of the circuit board from the holding member. A connector terminal is projected from a portion of the peripheral wall portion, bent at a bent portion toward the circuit board, and connected with the circuit board. The connector terminal includes a projected portion, which is located closer to the peripheral wall portion than the bent portion, and an inserted portion, which is inserted in a through hole of the circuit board. The projected portion is shifted from the inserted portion when viewed from a side of the connector portion.

    Abstract: A first power control system has a first to a third motor wires and a second power control system has a fourth to a sixth motor wires. The first to the third motor wires and the fourth to the sixth motor wires are located on a concentric circle of a center of a magnet and located to be symmetrical to each other with respect to the magnet. The first and the third motor wires, which are located at both sides of the second motor wire in a circumferential direction of an electric motor portion, are asymmetrically arranged with respect to the second motor wire. The fourth and the sixth motor wires, which are located at both sides of the fifth motor wire in the circumferential direction, are asymmetrically arranged with respect to the fifth motor wire. As a result, a size of an electrical driving device can be made smaller.

    Abstract: A drive device includes a cover and a connector case. The cover is shaped into a cup form and has a connector insertion hole at a bottom portion of the cover. In a view taken in a connector inserting direction, the connector insertion hole is larger than a contour of a connector portion of the connector case, and a gap between an inner wall surface of the connector insertion hole and the contour of the connector portion is equal to or smaller than 3 mm. Thereby, although the connector insertion hole is formed to be larger than the connector portion to enable the insertion of the connector portion into the connector insertion hole at a time of assembly, a size of a cross section of the opening of the connector insertion hole is minimized.

    Abstract: A housing and a rotary shaft of a motor are formed of non-magnetic material. A soft magnetic member is provided between a first axial end surface of a fixed core and a bearing. The soft magnetic member is provided on the fixed core side relative to the first bearing thereby to suppress magnetic flux leaking to a vicinity of one end part of the rotary shaft by leading the magnetic flux, which is generated from a rotor, to the rotor core through the fixed core and a casing. A magnetic angular position sensor fixed to one end part of the rotary shaft can detect a magnetic angular position of the rotor accurately without being affected by external magnetic field. As a result, noise generated by vibration of the motor can be suppressed.
